Chapter 1 - Hazrat Muhammad (pbuh)

The life of Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) is a unique epic in the history of mankind. His biography is not just the story of a man, but a living history of his return from darkness to light.

Below is a brief but significant glimpse of his life in story form:

1. The orphan boy of Makkah

When he was born in 570 AD to the Quraish dynasty of Mecca, Arabia, his father Abdullah died before him. He lost his mother Amena when he was only six years old. Growing up in the harsh environment of the Arabian desert, this boy was quiet and thoughtful from childhood.

He grew up under the shelter of grandfather Abdul Muttalib and later uncle Abu Talib. Even in his youth, his character traits impressed everyone. It was not in his nature to lie or harm anyone. That is why the people of Makkah affectionately called him 'Al-Amin' or 'The Trustworthy'.

2. The call of truth and receiving prophecy

At the age of forty, while meditating in the cave of Hera near Mecca, the angel Gabriel (a.s.) brought him the first revelation from Allah Almighty. A new chapter begins. He urged people to worship one God and leave idolatry and come to the path of justice and equality.

But this path to truth was not easy. The Quraish of Makkah started brutally torturing him. He did not deviate from his ideals despite the ridicule and physical suffering of his people.

3. The greatness of the migration and conquest of Madinah

In the face of continuous opposition from the people of Makkah, he migrated to Madinah on the command of Allah. In Madinah he established himself not only as a prophet but also as a great statesman. There he concluded a historic peace treaty called 'Madinah Sanad' between people of different religions.

Finally, after eight long years, he entered Makkah victoriously with ten thousand companions. The day was the perfect opportunity to take revenge from his arch enemies. But what the Holy Prophet (PBUH) did is rare in the history of the world. He addressed everyone and said:

"I have no complaint against you today. You are all free."

4. Farewell Hajj and last message

His last speech or 'Farewell Hajj Speech' was a great manifesto of humanity. He declared that,There is no superiority of the non-Arab over the Arab and the Arab over the non-Arab; Man's excellence is only in his piety or good deeds. He emphasized women's rights, slave rights and ensuring the safety of each other's blood.
