Axiom stared at Future Trunks, wondering how he was here, before standing and walking toward him.
Trunks and Vegeta were talking when they spotted Axiom approaching. Vegeta simply sneered.
"What do you want?" Vegeta's words were harsh, and he seemed far less cowardly than the last time they had met.
Axiom turned his attention to Vegeta and spoke coldly. "May I speak with him?" He motioned toward Trunks.
Vegeta sneered at Axiom before glancing at Trunks. "Do whatever you want."
Axiom nodded, then looked at Trunks. "Follow me."
He proceeded to jump off the Lookout, using his ki to accelerate downward.
Trunks glanced at Vegeta for a moment before following Axiom down.
On the ground, Axiom stared at Trunks for a few moments before finally speaking.
"How are you here?"
Trunks looked confused at the question. "I'm not sure what you're referring to. Could you explain?"
Axiom nodded slightly. "You're from the future, right?"
Trunks nodded, not thinking much about how Axiom knew that, since anyone on the Lookout could have told him. "Yeah…? Do you mean how I'm here as in you thought Cell killed me? Because we're from separate timelines."
Axiom considered this for a moment before responding. "Timelines? Hmm… Alright. That's all I wanted from you. You can go back up now."
Trunks' eyes narrowed in confusion. "Was that all? You just wanted me to answer one question?"
Axiom nodded. "Yes. I did. Now shoo. I want to continue training."
Trunks recoiled slightly at being shooed away before shaking his head. "Goodbye… I guess." That was all he said before flying back up to the Lookout.
Axiom watched him leave before crossing his legs and hovering above the ground, continuing to practice his ki control.
__
Several hours passed with Axiom training his ki control as he slowly floated back up toward the Lookout.
When he returned, he noticed that Goku and Gohan were still nowhere to be seen.
Sighing, Axiom sat down on the cold tiles of the Lookout. Pausing his ki control exercise, he began charging a ki blast.
The blast fully charged in a split second. Seeing this, Axiom felt an inexplicable sense of pride well up within him, knowing that no one his age could replicate the feat.
He dissipated the ki blast afterward—something he had also recently learned to do.
But now he was bored. With nothing to do and no desire for further training, he stood up, looked in a random direction, and flew off as he had done once before.

After circling the Earth a few times, he found a strange arena-like structure in the middle of nowhere.
Descending onto it, he came face to face with Perfect Cell.
At first, neither of them spoke. They simply examined one another in silence until Cell broke it.
"Who are you? I don't recall any of Frieza's kin coming to this planet."
Axiom thought for a moment before responding. "My name is Axiom. Though I don't recall a warrior of your caliber. Who are you?"
Cell smirked. "I am Cell, the most perfect lifeform in the universe. So… are you here to challenge me?"
Axiom's eyes narrowed at the name before softening again. "Challenge you? No. I was bored and accidentally stumbled upon this place."
Cell paused, clearly thinking it over. Before he could respond, Axiom floated upward slightly and spoke first.
"I'll be right back."
With that, Axiom launched himself toward a nearby city.

An hour later, Axiom returned to the arena. This time, he was holding a box of Uno cards—stolen from some poor man's house.
"I know it's terribly boring to just stand around, right? So how about we play… this?" Axiom gestured to the box in his hand.
Cell looked mildly confused, having never heard of this game—or, for that matter, any game. Eventually, he huffed.
"How do I play?"
His curiosity and boredom had won out.
