Chapter 44 - Chapter 44: The Prophet Descends

Looking down upon the entire Octarius System, one would see nothing but desolation, dimness, and silence.

Every planet had fallen to the star-spanning Tyranid fleets, save for the largest planet in the center, which barely clung to the faint light of life—a mottled green marred by patches of black.

The flagship of the Tyranid Hive Fleet Leviathan was a colossal Hive Ship, large enough to cover a planet's surface. Equipped with feeding tendrils and launcher sacs for Bio-Plasma and Spore Mines, it served not only as a synapse node for the Hive Mind to command the surrounding swarm but also as a massive mobile factory, birthing endless waves of Tyranids.

It was a unique life form, possessing leathery skin and chitinous armor hundreds of feet thick. It could withstand terrifying Warp storms with nothing but its biological body—a living bio-ship.

Now, this sun-blotting Leviathan Hive Ship hung in space, plunging all its tendrils straight into the last remaining territory of the Ork Empire in Octarius, sucking the organic matter from the land while spawning terrifying numbers of Tyranids.

"Zoggin' bugs!"

"WAAAGH!!!"

Standing atop a massive steel fortress, a burly, one-eyed Ork appeared. Huffing like a bellows, he gripped a chainsword, his red eyes glaring furiously at the Tyranid swarm encroaching on his defense line. He let out a roar of extreme rage.

This was the commander of the last Ork defensive line, the Warboss who had survived multiple assassination attempts by the Tyranids: Ironjaw.

Boss Ironjaw had built massive bunkers out of scrap metal in every Ork-controlled zone to resist the Tyranid invasion. But as Ork planets fell one by one, staggering amounts of biomass were fed into the Hive Ship, continuously churning out new Tyranids to replenish their forces.

The once unbreakable steel defense line formed by the WAAAGH! Field began to wither under the erosion of the frenzied Tyranid swarm. Now, only this small patch of territory remained.

Before Boss Ironjaw's eyes, the sky was carpeted with dense clouds of Tyranid flyers. The horizon, stretching for hundreds of kilometers, was so thick with bugs that the ground was invisible. In the distance, terrifying Tyranid Bio-Titans slowly advanced, while massive monsters tore relentlessly at his defenses.

In contrast, although the Ork line had numerous bunkers acting as fire points, against the absolute numbers of the Tyranids, even machine gun barrels glowing red hot from continuous fire were useless.

Dammit! Since when can't Greenskins crush the enemy with numbers?!

It's a zoggin' joke!

Never had he been this frustrated. How could a Warboss like Ironjaw, who had fought countless battles in his life, not be enraged?

The Tyranids had amassed a staggering force to siege the fortress, clearly intending to wipe out the remaining Orks in one fell swoop.

It was a critical moment of life and death. As commander, Ironjaw roared at his lieutenant:

"Get all da Boyz togevva right now! Charge wiv me! WAAAGH!!!"

"Even if we croak, we're gonna bite a chunk outta dese beasts!"

"WAAAA... Guk (Huh)?"

Just as Ironjaw grabbed his lieutenant's collar and roared, a sudden explosion echoed through the sky, and a shockwave from space made the ground tremble beneath their feet.

This sudden turn of events scared the "iron-willed" Ironjaw so much that his "WAAAGH" shrunk back into his throat, turning into a pathetic "Guk."

One can only imagine how terrifying this anomaly was.

But all one had to do was look up to see what had happened.

A moment ago, a Tyranid escort ship—larger than an Imperial battleship—guarding the Leviathan Hive Ship was rammed from the side by a terrifying force and snapped in half.

The heavily damaged Tyranid ship let out a piercing shriek capable of tearing a normal human's soul apart. Massive amounts of disgusting Tyranid blood sprayed from its severed torso, followed by a violent explosion.

Segments of the Tyranid ship fell into the atmosphere, burning continuously in the high heat. Smaller chunks disintegrated in the atmosphere, but larger pieces rained down like meteors, smashing into the Tyranid formations on the ground and throwing them into chaos.

"Dat's... an Ork fleet!"

Ironjaw's jaw dropped, speechless with shock. The massive flying behemoth that suddenly appeared in space, cobbled together from countless pieces of scrap metal—what else could it be but an Ork warship?

The warship's main guns fired again, unleashing a volley directly at the numerous Tyranid vessels!

For a moment, the sky was filled with fire and the thunderous roar of exchanging shells.

Ghazghkull Thraka's fleet had arrived on the battlefield.

And that warship with the terrifying firepower was the flagship of Warboss Urgok, whom Thraka had beaten into submission: a massive Space Hulk.

The original firepower of this flying behemoth rivaled the combined might of an entire Imperial fleet. Not to mention that after Kenmei's repairs and upgrades, this space monster had become even more terrifying and deadly.

The entire Tyranid fleet was caught off guard. Under the cover of massive artillery fire, a huge rock-like object was air-dropped directly from the hangar of the Ork ship toward the planet of Octarius.

It smashed through the cloud of Tyranid flyers, tearing a massive hole in the sky, and landed right in the center of the Tyranid legions, leaving the bugs stunned.

Then, unexpectedly, the fallen rock suddenly erupted with a brilliant, bizarre flash of light. Simultaneously, the same light flashed in the sky.

Soon, a towering green giant walked out of the light. His massive power claw gleamed with a terrifying edge under the sunlight. Even facing countless monsters, this massive Greenskin showed no sign of retreat.

BOOM!

A steel beast nearly 25 meters tall crashed down behind the green giant from the flash in the sky with a thunderous noise, instantly stomping hundreds of Tyranids into paste.

This Gargant, loaded with all kinds of horrifying weapons, bore a conspicuous and massive totem on its chest, allowing every Ork present to see the iconic banner.

Finally, Boss Ironjaw understood who had arrived. Every Ork Boy understood.

It was Ghazghkull Mag Uruk Thraka, the Prophet of Gork and Mork, the Great Unbeatable One.

He had come!

"WAAAGH!!!"

The six-meter-tall Ork let out a deafening roar, his eyes fixed on the hideous bugs.

"Bring da destruction down on dere heads!"

The only Ork whom the Gods' Chosen, "Bonebreaka" Thraka, could trust to watch his back was undoubtedly Gul'dan, who could also hear the divine oracle.

"Yes, my lord."

Inside the Gargant, Kenmei Isayama pulled the trigger immediately. The barrels of the Sup shoota (multi-barrel cannon) began their deadly rotation. Simultaneously, he issued the order for the Ork fleet to launch an all-out assault.

In space, the Ork fleet opened its hangars, dropping more and more Roks (Ork drop pods) toward the surface.
