"This makes no sense. Do I really sleep that soundly? I shouldn't. I'm supposed to be a light sleeper."
Jiang Xia was still racking his brain. He suddenly looked up at An Ning. Her eyes darted about nervously as she asked, "What are you looking at me for? I'm telling you, it wasn't me! It really wasn't me!"
Jiang Xia narrowed his eyes, staring at her. "I know it wasn't you. If it were, you wouldn't have been able to laugh so brazenly this morning."
"However... I have a feeling you know what happened. Why else would you stop laughing? That means you're thinking, that your attention's been diverted. C'mon, An Ning, fess up."
An Ning cupped her hands at Jiang Xia in a mock salute.
