Gu Hengzhi nodded. He had, of course, heard the name Lu Cheng before. If Shen Nian was Lu Cheng's wife, then it made perfect sense that she would be at the Chu Family's place.
Gu Zifan, who had been playing off to the side, had actually been keeping an eye on Shen Nian and Gu Hengzhi the whole time. When he saw that their conversation seemed less tense than before, he ran back over to them.
"Big Brother, Big Sister, are you done talking?"
He didn't like playing those little games at all. He just wanted to be with his brother and his big sister.
"Is Fanfan bored all by himself?"
Shen Nian smiled, pulling Gu Zifan close to sit beside her. Since Gu Hengzhi had already said he hoped she would spend more time with Fanfan, Shen Nian didn't need to be so guarded in front of him and treated Gu Zifan with her usual affection.
"Yeah, Fanfan wants to be with Big Sister."
