However, she ran downstairs unimpeded and out the main doors of Xuanyuan Gulun. She dashed toward the black stone sculptures of the Yellow Emperor's tour of Taishan outside. All she had to do was get around them, and she'd be out of the courtyard gate in no time. Once she was on the crowded street, she could hail a cab and be home quickly.
Her plan was perfect, but when she actually rounded the sculptures, she discovered the physical world had been altered by a Spell. After running so hard for so long, she ended up right back on the second floor.
