As the year drew to a close, many places in the Compassion Sea began to put up red and green decorations.
Many Low Tier Cultivators, no matter their gains over the past year, would take these few days to relax a little.
This was true even in the windswept Tingtao Sea.
However, unlike most cultivators who were immersed in the joyous festival atmosphere, a few High Tier Cultivators were fraught with worry.
With the Sea Race's sudden attack, countless Sea Fish surged deep into their territory. The shadow of great turmoil had almost completely enveloped the entire Compassion Sea.
The situation had suddenly become unprecedentedly grim.
So much so that within many factions, they were unsure whether they should spread the latest news.
Especially the news of Zen Master Kuji's death.
The fall of a Tier Four Cultivator was enough to incite widespread panic.
And this kind of panic would only create chaos, offering no benefit to the greater situation.
