Yi Xingchen was comatose, and it was clear something was terribly wrong, especially since they had been ambushed just after leaving.
"Back then, I also had a Blood Qi deficiency, and it was quite severe. As I got older, my Blood Qi just kept dwindling…" Yi Tianyun said with a frown.
"You had a Blood Qi deficiency back then?" Jiao Linghe looked at him in surprise, then glanced at Shi Xueyun, seeking confirmation.
"That's right. Before, Celestial Cloud had a very severe Blood Qi deficiency. I used Blood Qi Pills to slowly restore it for him, until an expert helped him later on. That's how Celestial Cloud avoided that situation. Otherwise, if it had continued, I'm afraid…" Shi Xueyun felt a pang of fear as she recalled the past.
If someone hadn't helped back then, Yi Tianyun would have certainly died.
"An expert helped?" Jiao Linghe asked, puzzled.
"Yes. Wasn't it you, sister, who sent someone down to help?" Shi Xueyun inquired.
