The ceremony officially commenced.
Amidst a swell of music, Gao Neng walked slowly forward toward the seat representing the Speaker of the Supreme Council. All around him were gasps and thunderous cheers.
This was a joyous day for the Alliance.
It was also the day Gao Neng officially succeeded the Speaker.
