Harming a child was something Evan Keller and his team could not tolerate.
"It's confirmed. I heard it myself, through the door.
"Mr. Gary told the man to hurry up and do it, that he couldn't wait any longer." Zoe Sawyer repeated what Mr. Gary had said to the short man. The group of people around her frowned, their brows furrowing.
Evan Keller kicked a nearby chair and paced around, furious. "So brazen! He's definitely a seasoned pro! No, we can't delay any longer!
"Liam, find everything you can on this man, now! I'm going to haul him in right away!"
As he spoke, Evan Keller snatched the sketch of Mr. Gary from Zoe Sawyer's hand and slammed it onto Officer Lee's desk, his voice sharp with urgency.
"Got it!"
Officer Lee immediately got to work, his hands flying across the keyboard without pause. The light from various flashing windows on his screen reflected off his stoic face.
