Mu Lin was genuinely worried they would be killed. Even if they weren't, she was still concerned that Senior Loach would expose his Cultivation.
But she didn't quite understand. Could one really win love this way?
She asked the Tier Nine Dragon, "Is this how the entire Dragon Race pursues love? For us humans, being strong enough is all it takes."
The Tier Nine Dragon: "..."
'How was he supposed to answer that?'
He'd never pursued anyone either. He had gone into hiding a long, long time ago.
'But being powerful is definitely the most important factor.'
Besides, the other party was a Loach, after all. A Loach pursuing a member of the Dragon Race was unrealistic to begin with.
And a member of the Holy Beast Dragon Race at that—the most prideful of them all.
That was why he'd never been optimistic about the Loach's chances.
Mu Lin said, "I still don't think much of the Holy Dragon. She's too selfish."
