The moment things went awry, however, the Holy Dragon took action. A power belonging to a Tier Nine instantly repelled Jiang Zuo.
Jiang Zuo was forced away from the Holy Dragon.
Ripples began to spread through the power coursing over his body. This time, however, it would be truly difficult to achieve victory.
He frowned at the Holy Dragon. He had just tested his theory and found that Immortal Spiritual Qi was no longer effective.
'To defeat the Holy Dragon, I'll have to use an equivalent level of power.'
The Divine Dragon was out of commission. He was weak and grievously wounded after that last attack; he couldn't be counted on at all.
As for the others besides the Divine Dragon, they were even less reliable.
Jiang Zuo remained unflustered, however. He simply stood in mid-air, meeting the Holy Dragon's gaze.
"Human, I have indeed underestimated you. The power you wield is quite special. You're no ordinary person, it seems."
