Jiang Zuo didn't quite understand. A Dragon was telling him he didn't want to force a woman into marriage.
'Is this guy kidding me?'
A strong Dragon pursuing a weaker Dragon needed mutual affection?
'Since when was that a rule?'
Forget the fact that the Holy Dragon wasn't even from a noble line of Holy Dragons. So what if she was?
If you want her, just take her. At worst, you go to war.
The number of Divine Dragons might be small, but what's wrong with a Tier Nine taking one of your people?
Then just fight. Unless you manage to draw out the Primordial Dragon of the Holy Sacred Beast race, the Divine Dragons have nothing to fear.
Even if he's ugly, the other Divine Dragons would still help him. Tier Nine is no joke.
So, when he could clearly just take her by force, he insisted on finding true love. 'This Dragon must be sick in the head.'
For example, if Jiang Zuo had known in his previous life that Jiu Xi was Su Qi, he would have dragged her back by force.
