An ache so sharp it felt like suffocation seized Ye Tianling's heart, and his body began to tremble violently.
The concern, the protectiveness, the sheer tenderness he felt for Long Tianmo seemed to pierce through his heart and sear itself deep into his soul.
"Tianmo, it's not that I don't want to agree to your request. It's your father... he never had any intention of letting me live."
As Ye Tianling spoke, his gaze, utterly cold and detached, fell upon Long Fengyang.
"The Dragon Race's soul, the Dragon Race's bloodline... how will you repay that? How can we ever be even?"
A hint of mockery, ridicule, and contempt surfaced on Long Fengyang's otherwise emotionless face.
