Adonis walked in a quiet serenity.
The academy grounds spanned endlessly before him, paved with polished stone pathways and lined with towering trees that shimmered faintly with embedded magical crystals.
Even the air here felt different. Cleaner. Denser. Alive.
Tina walked a step ahead, her posture though slightly stiff.
"Th-this way," she said softly, pointing toward a distant cluster of buildings.
Adonis followed, his crimson-tinged eyes scanning everything.
Students moved in groups, their uniforms pristine, their auras sharp. Some carried swords openly, others staffs, bows, or strange artifacts that pulsed faintly with energy.
No one paid attention to Tina.
But many glanced at Adonis.
Not because they recognized him.
But because something about him felt… off.
"Good, let them wonder. Let them know their common sense is about to be broken," he whispered to himself.
