Chapter 32 - Chapter 32: An Incredible Secret

"Finally done."

Shirai Mio looked at the half-finished doujinshi in her sketchbook. Even though it was just simple linework, it had still taken considerable effort.

After all, she didn't read many vanilla doujins, and she had to add r*pe elements too, so coming up with the concept took quite a bit of time.

If she were drawing NTR though... cough cough!

Even though she was alone in the room, Shirai Mio still coughed twice to cover her embarrassment.

It was currently 3 AM—about time to sleep. But before bed, Shirai Mio quietly got up and headed to the bathroom first. She quickly rinsed off her body and changed her panties before finally lying down in bed.

Maybe because she'd just finished drawing the doujin, her mind was still filled with indescribable images. She tossed and turned until nearly 4 AM before finally managing to fall asleep.

But she hadn't been asleep long before the blaring alarm woke her up.

Shirai Mio climbed out of bed looking exhausted. Thank goodness the task would be completed soon. If she had to do this every day, she'd probably die of overwork before becoming someone's girlfriend.

Just then, the system's voice suddenly rang in her ear: "The task rewards include items that prevent sudden death. As long as the host completes enough tasks, there's a chance to obtain it~"

"You're doing this on purpose, aren't you? If the tasks you gave me were more reasonable, would I need to stay up all night drawing doujins?"

"Actually, the host could think of other methods to complete the tasks. It doesn't have to involve staying up late."

"I'm not exactly a genius. The current method is the best one I could think of." Shirai Mio sighed softly. If she could think of other methods, who'd want to stay up late?

Today, just like usual, she walked into the classroom right as the bell rang.

Although her doujin was ready, she needed to find an opportunity—one where the doujin would be naturally seen by Eriri without arousing suspicion.

Over the past few days at school, besides drawing during class, she'd used break time to observe Eriri's movement patterns. She'd even casually asked around to learn about Eriri's behavior at school.

Eriri's performance at school was that of a model student. She was never late to class. During breaks, aside from bathroom trips, she generally stayed in the classroom. Even during lunch, she'd eat her bento with classmates in the classroom.

The only time she could make contact was during club activities after school.

Shirai Mio had originally planned to "accidentally" leave her sketchbook in the club room during activities, then have Eriri find it.

However, Eriri wasn't the one who cleaned up the club room. If she actually did this, either Eriri would return it to her on the spot, or someone else would find it—and her sketchbook had her name written on it.

If someone else saw it, it'd be instant social death.

After thinking it over, Shirai Mio finally decided that after club activities ended, she'd stage a classic "chance encounter" on Eriri's route home.

She definitely couldn't bring Shiina Mashiro along for this, so this morning she'd already told Sengoku Chihiro to take Shiina Mashiro home today. She'd also be skipping club activities.

After all, she needed to prepare in advance.

Shirai Mio ran through the plan in her head a few more times. After confirming there were no major issues, she finally focused her attention on studying.

Or rather, more like using [Shiina Mashiro's Photographic Memory] to forcibly memorize the textbook contents. Although it took a long time to completely memorize one page, once memorized, she'd never forget it.

At her current memorization speed, memorizing all the textbooks before the semester ended wouldn't be difficult. Plus, she could upgrade this card by completing Shiina Mashiro's tasks.

So Shirai Mio wasn't worried about her studies at all.

Time moved to the afternoon. As the bell rang, Eriri gathered her things and headed straight to the art club's activity room.

Although club participation wasn't mandatory, she habitually came every day—partly to practice drawing, partly because she could think carefully about certain things here.

Like what kind of doujin to draw.

Yep, she still had zero ideas.

Sometimes she really wanted to find someone to discuss it with, but her identity as an 18+ doujin artist made it hard to just chat with anyone about this.

Aki Tomoya would probably work, but he'd been busy writing lately and had no time. As for her parents... well, it's not like she couldn't discuss it with them, but it'd feel weird somehow.

If only she had a like-minded friend, that'd be great.

Preferably a beautiful girl.

Thinking this, Eriri suddenly thought of Shirai Mio for some reason. If she had a beautiful girl at Shirai Mio's level as a fellow enthusiast, she could not only discuss things but also use her as a model. Two birds with one stone.

Though for some reason, she wasn't at the club today.

Otherwise, she'd really like to ask why the other girl was learning to draw.

As the sunset gradually streamed through the windows into the classroom, club activities ended. Eriri stood up and stretched lazily, though her somewhat modest figure didn't quite display the curves appropriate for her age.

After packing up her art supplies, Eriri picked up her bag and left the club room.

Her house wasn't too far from school—less than half an hour on foot.

As Eriri walked home, she mulled over the doujin's plot.

Soon she reached her neighborhood. Just one turn at the intersection ahead and she'd see her house.

Just as Eriri reached the intersection and was about to turn, a figure suddenly emerged from around the corner. Still lost in thought about her doujin, Eriri didn't react in time, and the other person seemed to be rummaging through their bag without noticing her approach.

The two collided head-on.

Unprepared, Eriri nearly fell to the ground. The other person had it worse—not only did they fall, but the contents of their bag scattered everywhere. From Eriri's angle, she could even see their blue-and-white striped panties.

Before Eriri could get a better look, she was captivated by the drawings scattering through the air like snow.

She instinctively reached out and caught one. It depicted a certain indescribable act.

At the same time, Eriri realized the person she'd knocked down seemed to be that white-haired beauty who'd just transferred here—Shirai Mio.

She felt like she'd just discovered some incredible secret.
