Haruka got ready and left for school. The only thing that bothered him was that whenever he used it, his eye, or eyes, were glowing blue.
He went out, took the bicycle, and started to head for school. He thought to himself that there was a red vision too... but that shows a completely different reality. If he remembers correctly, then it must be from 5d because 5d shows many branches, maybe he can see one of the branches.
He doesn't know how to use it yet. Yet.
He went to school and parked his bicycle in the garage. Just the moment when he was climbing up the staircase, his right eye started to twitch. He willingly increases it. He closed his right eye while climbing, making sure no one saw the glow. He noticed that after closing his right eye, his blue vision started to work better. Suddenly, he sees that Yume falls down the stairs....her bones cracking...the knees and the elbows....twitched.
She was bleeding...
Haruka was about to puke; he didn't know how far he saw but he immediately climbed up the staircase and saw Yume, who was about to miss a step while coming down.
Haruka saw it...but Yume fell... but now that Haruka was in front of her, Yume fell on Haruka. Haruka gripped the handle on the staircase, hardly, and held Yume with his other hand.
With a sigh, Haruka says, "Ah... Glad... You didn't fall."
Haruka's eye was a bit teary, but it was not noticeable.
Yume chuckled lightly and said, "Too good at hunches?"
Yume thanks him, and later on, both of them are heading to class. Haruka kept his back on the usual spot. But suddenly, Haruka gets a weird feeling, his left eye starts to twitch, red vision. He sees Aurel fall down the stairs.
He ran back to the stairs. Yume was left speechless, not knowing why he just ran away all of a sudden.
It was too late. Aurel fell, his knee twisted, students nearby started to panic, one of them called the ambulance, and the other went to the teacher.
Aurel was winching and screaming in pain. "Help! Somebody!....Agh..."
Haruka's eyes were wide... he stared at the sight... he knew it might happen, but he couldn't prevent it.
Saito and others came; they went in the ambulance and took Aurel to the hospital.
Yume and Haruka were left behind once again. Haruka in the class was just staring at the notebook, eyes wide. All he muttered was, "I-it's all my fault..."
He was thinking about how he could fall. He saved Yume. Did that make Aurel fall? If Yume had fallen, maybe Aurel might not have suffered this pain. He started to hate himself. He started to realize he was selfish, so selfish that he sacrificed his friend for his love.
There again, he couldn't save him even seeing the vision.
Yume, on the other hand, was just being suspiciously worried. She noticed how Haruka predicted things, and ran fast towards the staircase without a single word. She could sense something was wrong.
She could sense he was bearing something...heavy.
After school, Yume, on her way to the garage with Haruka, willingly tried to fall.
After school ended, Haruka went to the garage. He willingly turned on his blue vision on the right eye, and he saw that Yume was about to fall. He immediately held her.
Yume, who was a bit scared now, but as if she discovered something.
Yume: "I knew something was wrong... How did you know I was going to fall?"
Haruka swallows hard. What should he do? He was nervous.
Haruka: "Good hu-"
Yume, with an angered tone now, "Don't give me that bullshit!!! What is it? You started to scare me! You see things quickly! You react too soon! Y-You are now scary, Haruka! Give me back the old one!"
Haruka's eyes were wide... she was the only person who made him smile. Why did the world feel so empty all of a sudden?
Yume, without a single word, leaves; she felt this weird ache in her chest. She regrets saying those words, but she was too stubborn to say sorry now.
She leaves.
Haruka... couldn't think what was happening; it was the feeling after seeing math for 2 hours straight.
He quietly took the bicycle out... and he was riding alone today.
He was deep into thoughts... while driving, his right eye twitched, and he saw that he had hit a truck, he immediately turned left...
Haruka thought in his mind while driving, "That was a save...but not worth it... Being noticed yet being misunderstood is worse than dying unseen.... because the first is an endless crucifixion in the eyes of others, while the second one is a clean final silence."
He went home, as usual, after getting fresh and having lunch, and he lay in bed.
Suddenly, it felt like he wanted to name the abilities.
Haruka was trying to get over Yume's words; he knew anyone would be scared if they said their close person predicted things.
Haruka started to pick a name for the blue vision...
"Umm... Fixer vis? As it fixes...no...or...hm...Ahead vision...AV?...no....sounds lame...Chrono Split....sounds cool...yes..."
"About red one...I haven't mastered it...so just red vision...I will name it later."
He then tried to turn the red vision on his left eye...
But unlike Chrono-split on his right eye, it doesn't twitch again and again, but... it twitched once...
He sees the same with the red vision as he sees normally with his other eye. He sat on the bed and looked at the door... He opened it, and he saw... the room... the living room was unusually different...he closed his left eye, and it was normal, but he closed his right eye and saw that the sofa was on the otherside, the TV was missing, and there were 2 air conditioners instead of 1.
Haruka: "I-is it another... reality? W-who is controlling this, Haruka...w-wait i-"
