I could hear it the moment I walked into class.
Whispers.
Laughters that stopped when I looked over.
"Loser," someone muttered under their breath.
I didn't look back. I didn't react. I just kept walking to my seat, like I didn't hear it, even though I did. I always did.
That word wasn't random.
As I sat down, I noticed where the laughter came from. The same corner. The same group. A quiet glance. A covered smile.
That's when it hit me.
The rumors didn't start on their own.

I didn't need to hear names. I didn't need proof. I already knew who let it spread. Who watched it happen and said nothing.

After school I just went straight home.
My mom was in the kitchen.
"How was school?" she asked.

I just went straight to my room and closed the door.
