Ryn finally stepped forward once the battle ended.
His gaze met Kael's.
"You're the leader here," Ryn said calmly.
Kael nodded, still catching his breath.
"Reinforcements have entered the dungeon," Ryn explained. "Our mission is to locate all explorers and escort everyone out safely. Other teams are already operating across different routes."
Relief spread across Kael's group.
They bowed deeply in gratitude.
"Thank you for saving us," Kael said sincerely.
Ryn shook his head.
"We're all squad members," he replied. "No one stands above the other here."
His tone was firm but not harsh.
"Our commander taught us one thing above all else. We keep each other alive."
