Dulce thought seriously about it, as if it were a distant memory. "I believe so," He said calmly without inflection to his voice, his striking features remaining bloodless.
The Vampire's calm was infectious, it seeped into the growing panic Ruoxi barely kept contained. The shackles were gone from his neck, and after this, he could perhaps taste food for the first time in centuries.
