While at her hotel room doing some work, a knock on the door interrupts Amber as she looks through the peep hole to find Lloyd there, waiting. She opens the door as Lloyd turns around and introduces himself to her and asks if he can come inside as he needs to talk to her about something important. She allows him inside and closes the door as Lloyd takes a seat at the table. Amber closes her laptop as she opens the fridge to take out a bottle of vodka and pours them both a little.
Lloyd Price: Are you new here?
Amber Strong: That's twice today I've been asked that question. Yes, but I'm here for work.
Lloyd Price: Reporter?
Amber Strong: How did you guess?
Lloyd Price: Not hard to notice. Most reporters stay at lowdown shitholes like this place.
Amber Strong: It's affordable, has a bed and walls. That's all I need.
Lloyd Price: Listen, umm, I couldn't help but notice Mark Nelson joined you today.
Amber Strong: You were watching?
Lloyd Price: Not intentionally. He's a dangerous man, Ms. Strong.
Amber Strong: Dangerous? How so?
Lloyd Price: He's not who you think he is. He's done things to women that is beyond unforgivable.
Amber Strong: I'm going to need more to go on than just that.
Lloyd Price: Two years ago, my baby sister went on a date with this guy. Everything seemed fine at first, but then I started to get this gut feeling something was off with him. That he was not the guy he made himself out to be and-.
Amber Strong: Wait, wait, so you're telling me he's a bad person because of a feeling you got? I'm sorry, Lloyd, but that is not enough evidence to change my mind.
Lloyd sits there in silence as he drinks down his drink and nods as he gets up and goes to the door but stops and turns to look at her.
Lloyd Price: This city still holds dark secrets, even with The Outlaw out there. Just because it's been cleaned up does not mean there's still bad things going on behind the scenes. I hope you do not have to see that. Good night, Amber.
Lloyd opens the door and leaves as Amber closes and locks it, then leans against it to think but shakes her thoughts away and goes to the bathroom to get ready for bed.
At his mansion, Mark goes into his basement to take out some meat he has kept frozen and carries them upstairs to his kitchen. From there, he begins to cook a five-course meal for himself and his guests of four. What his guests are not aware of is the food he is preparing is organs and body parts he has not only kept frozen but is also selling to top bidders around the world, hence his fortune and wealth. Cooking organs such as kidneys, hearts, lungs, intestines, ears, tongues and so forth while mixing it with garnishes and cooking them to temperatures as if they were any of piece of meat. Once completed, it tops off the entrees with parsley then rolls them out into the dining room and serves the meals before offering a toast, indicating that business is thriving and everyone at the table should be expecting a bonus in the coming week. Mark takes his seat at the head of the table, and everyone begins eating their meals as he watches his guests enjoying the food before taking a bite.
