Adrian stiffened the very next second she crashed into his chest. The umbrella he was holding to shield her from the rain slipped from his hand and fell to the ground, while his arm instinctively wrapped around the small of her back.
After leaving Mr. Gorden's house a few minutes ago, with Zia directing him, he had found this place easily. It actually wasn't far from his villa, not more than a fifteen minute walk away.
And as Zia had said, she was truly here. But what made his jaw clench wasn't the fact that she was standing in front of the grave. It was because the rain was falling, and she was standing right under it.
