Jay's POV
I stared at the starless sky, the fog hitting my face, but I didn't care. The tears slipped from my eyes without me realising. It wasn't that Aries dening about being my brother or that I was an illegitimate child
it was Keifer.
My mind rang with the same words
'I used you, and the whole of Section E knew.'
Why does no one ever love me? Am I just a toy to play with!? All I want is someone to love me! Why does everyone hate me? But I know now — it isn't me who's the problem. It's them all of them .
Then I noticed someone following me in a black Honda. They'd been behind me for the past fifteen minutes. Suddenly, the door opened. He walked closer, and I couldn't see who it was — so I punched him. Hard.
"Ow, baby sistah!"
It was Percy.
"I knew you were rough, but sheesh — you hit like a boy," he whined.
"Shut up. Why are you here anyway?" I asked curiously, helping him up.
"I just wanted to see my baby sistah," he said sarcastically.
"Seriously?" I said, annoyed.
"No," he laughed. "I just saw you walking around crying. And by the way, baby Aries is right — you cry like a monkey."
I nudged him as we got into the car.

I blanked out and then Percy spoke
" Jay you okay ? " he said worried
" I'm fine , just thinking " I said
I don't know why, but I feel safe with Percy.
