Chapter 20 - Chapter 20: The End

Sword Domain, similar to a Domain Ability.

It expands a Domain of swords centered on oneself, generating an indefinite number of sword energy based on the Soul Power consumed, moving according to Arthur's will with extreme lethality.

And what just happened was another way Arthur had practiced using it.

Slashing out sword energy in advance to act as anchor points to expand the Domain, forming a killing formation that enveloped Wu Zhangkong right at its center.

"This is..." At a glance, all the surrounding space was sealed off by sword energy, every step filled with killing intent. Even with Wu Zhangkong's experience, he felt amazed.

Such a Prodigy; he was increasingly looking forward to what Arthur's third Spirit Ability would be.

With a hum, the sword formation activated.

"No way out..." Wu Zhangkong narrowed his eyes as the sword formation enveloped him like a collapsing sky.

The position of every strand of sword energy was just right; even with his strength, he couldn't find a way out.

"In that case."

Wu Zhangkong gave a casual flick, and the heavenly frost sword in his hand vibrated frantically at the same time. A blue-white frost mist suddenly exploded around him, shrouding the area and making it impossible to see his figure clearly.

"Hiding yourself because you can't get away?" Arthur shook his head. "Unfortunately, I can hit you even with my eyes closed."

That's how fighting with Intuition was.

All the intense sword energy, condensed as if physical, erupted instantly. The sword energy below scurried like silver snakes, while the sword energy in the sky fell like meteors, weaving into a dense net of light.

After all the sword energy attacks pierced into the frost mist, there was no more movement.

Exhaling a long breath, Arthur waited quietly for the result.

Slowly, the frost mist dissipated.

Revealing Wu Zhangkong's tall and straight figure; at a glance, he was completely unscathed from head to toe.

Gazing at Arthur with appreciative eyes, Wu Zhangkong felt inferior. He had once been a Genius at the top of an era in Shrek, but looking back now, he seemed mediocre in front of Arthur.

Actually, all the sword energy had hit him just now; even with his cultivation as a Spirit Emperor, he couldn't block it all.

Although being hit by the sword energy wouldn't cause him much injury, it wouldn't look good.

So at that moment, Wu Zhangkong had donned his Battle Armor, blocking all the sword energy before returning to normal.

After all, the students were watching; he had to maintain his dignity. Looking too disheveled wouldn't do.

"How is that possible?"

Arthur frowned deeply. This move had consumed almost all his Soul Power; how was it that not even the corner of Wu Zhangkong's clothes was damaged, and he was completely fine?

Countless thoughts flashed by, and Arthur asked hesitantly, "Teacher, did you use Battle Armor?"

Wu Zhangkong: "Hmm?"

His mouth twitched; even someone as cold as Wu Zhangkong silently averted his gaze, not daring to meet Arthur's eyes.

"Ahem." Giving a cough, Wu Zhangkong changed the subject. "What about your third Spirit Ability?"

Recalling the Sky-Rending Cry-Vulture from the sky into his body, he had originally wanted to coordinate with his soul spirit, but plans couldn't keep up with changes.

"No, I'm pretty much at my limit." Arthur's third Spirit Ability was called Collapse Liberation.

It was meant to enhance the power of the Holy Sword Release.

He and Wu Zhangkong were only sparring; there was no need to release the Holy Sword.

Besides, his Soul Power had bottomed out.

"Sigh." Arthur sighed. He still had the power of the Holy Spear unused. Not to mention releasing the Holy Spear, even the powers of the three elements—Wind, Water, and Fire—granted by the Holy Spear hadn't even appeared before he ran out of Soul Power.

Having too many skills was also a kind of trouble.

With his current Rank thirty-two Soul Power, it wasn't enough to use all his skills even once in sequence.

Of course, part of it was that he spent too much Soul Power on the Sword Domain; otherwise, he could have barely managed a few more moves of other types.

"Teacher, may I ask how much of your strength you used?" Arthur asked curiously.

How much strength did he use?

Wu Zhangkong thought for a moment, and after estimating for a while, he spoke the truth: "Thirty percent."

"Thirty percent?"

Arthur was very surprised. It wasn't that it was low, but that it was too high. One had to know that Wu Zhangkong hadn't used Spirit Abilities or Battle Armor in the fight just now.

Well... the Battle Armor might have been used for a moment; that point was questionable.

It could actually be thirty percent?

Calculating silently in his heart, although Arthur still had the Holy Spear power unused, he could be considered to have gone all out. After all, his Soul Power was indeed completely exhausted.

"You are the most talented person I have ever seen. Setting aside Spirit Abilities and Battle Armor, I already used my full strength."

"It's just that the gap in Soul Power Rank is not so easily bridged."

Wu Zhangkong admitted frankly, without his usual cold words: "When I was a Spirit Elder, I wouldn't have been your match for a single round."

Looking at Arthur opposite him, Wu Zhangkong had been too invested in the previous battle and only now realized with a shock that the other boy was only nine years old.

He had already begun to look forward to what kind of brilliance Arthur would radiate in the future.

"Everyone, assemble!" His gaze swept across the entire class of students who had long since been dazed on the playground. Wu Zhangkong regained his cold aura.

The students gathered like the walking dead; they had been stunned by the battle just now. Those who originally had a good mindset were fine and barely managed to calm their emotions.

Some of the more competitive students had already had their Dao Hearts shattered, frequently turning their heads to look at Arthur.

This is nine years old? The same age as me?

The most obvious among them was Xie Xie; his eyes were vacant, and his heart was lost. At this moment, he suddenly felt that his previous arrogance was so laughable.

Tang Wulin was okay; he was already somewhat self-conscious, and now he just became even more admiring of Arthur. He secretly cheered himself on in his heart, wanting to become such a powerful person in the future.

Some students cheered and admired Arthur, while others were struck with low morale.

Wu Zhangkong felt a slight headache. Normally, if students were like this, he wouldn't bother to care, but this situation was special; Arthur's performance was indeed too demoralizing.

If it were him at nine years old, his defense would have crumbled too.

"Hopeless cases!" Wu Zhangkong braced himself to lecture. "Don't think about how others are."

"Can someone else's talent become a reason for you to give up on yourselves?"

"Your sparring just now was also a complete mess."

"You have disappointed me twice!" His voice was as cold as ice.

"However!"

"Even if you are a piece of scrap iron, I will temper you into steel."

"Don't always think about comparing yourselves with others; your first priority is to be your best self..."

Wu Zhangkong paused for a moment and continued: "Through this competition, the biggest weakness for many of you is a poor physique."

"Basics are of the utmost importance. Starting tomorrow, physical training begins."

That was all he said. Wu Zhangkong's personality was like this; if the students wanted to work hard, he would teach them; if they didn't, he wouldn't bother.

"Xie Xie, Tang Wulin, stay behind. The rest are dismissed."

His dark green eyes looked toward Arthur. Wu Zhangkong didn't specifically keep Arthur behind; he understood he couldn't teach the boy much, and he had even learned a lot himself from the battle just now.

Moreover, he remembered what Arthur said yesterday about the reason for coming to class five.

After the battle just now, Wu Zhangkong also realized that Arthur had simply come to find him to spar.

He kept Tang Wulin and Xie Xie behind alone.

Next, Wu Zhangkong prepared to put in hard work on these two to prepare for the Grade Promotion Tournament.

He didn't plan to let Arthur play; that would be too much like bullying. This Little Yellow Hair was already on a different level from his peers.
