Chapter 26 - Part25:The Recapture of Port Ormos

Transcendent War: Clash at Port Ormos

Amidst a bizarre chaotic void, the laws of space were wantonly kneaded like clay by an invisible giant hand. On one side stood Zhao Zilong of Changshan from the Three Kingdoms era, clad in silver armor atop a white steed, his spear glinting with cold light. He exuded the valiant aura of a legendary general who had fought a hundred battles, with the mighty, well‑disciplined army of the Shu‑Han behind him. On the other side was Cyno, the Guardian of the Desert Sands from the world of Genshin Impact. Dressed in unique crimson armor, his spear pulsed with glowing runes, his white hair fluttering in the wind. The sand warriors under his command bore determined gazes, brimming with the fearless spirit of the desert's sons.

An inexplicable summoning force brought these two mighty armies from different timelines to a strange yet prosperous harbor — Port Ormos. However, the port was now occupied by Yuan Shu's forces. The character "YUAN" emblazoned on their fluttering banners was striking, and the soldiers' clamor was filled with arrogance.

Zhao Zilong gently reined in his horse. The white steed pawed the ground and neighed. His eyes blazed like torches as he scanned the port's defenses. He said to his lieutenant beside him, "This port has been seized; the people must be suffering. Since we are here, we shall drive out these traitors." Cyno nodded slightly, planted his spear on the ground, and said solemnly, "This land shall not be trampled by these greedy fools. Come with me — let them witness true power."

As the war drums thundered, Zhao Zilong and Cyno charged at the forefront, leading their armies toward the port. Yuan Shu's troops scrambled to defend, unleashing a hail of arrows upon the allied forces. Fearless, Zhao Zilong nocked a feathered arrow to his sturdy bow, drawing the string full as a full moon. The arrow whistled through the air, accurately felling one archer after another from Yuan Shu's ranks. Cyno weaved through a storm of spear shadows; wherever his spear struck, enemies fell in droves. The sand warriors followed closely behind, cooperating seamlessly with the Shu‑Han army, stabbing like a sharp blade deep into Yuan Shu's defenses.

When Yuan Shu learned of the dire frontline situation from his rear camp, he flew into a rage and personally took to the battlefield. Mounted on a tall steed and wielding a great blade, he roared into the fray. Zhao Zilong spotted Yuan Shu from afar, a cold glint flashing in his eyes. He thought to himself: That is the rebel leader. I must capture him today. He squeezed his horse's flanks, and the white steed darted forward like a released arrow.

Cyno seemed to sense Zhao Zilong's target. He swung his spear, clearing a path for him. The two closed in on Yuan Shu from left and right, streaking like shooting stars. Startled, yet relying on his superior numbers, Yuan Shu gritted his teeth and charged to meet them.

Zhao Zilong and Yuan Shu clashed in an instant, spear and blade clashing with sparks flying. Zhao Zilong's spear technique was exquisite, every thrust carrying fierce momentum. Though Yuan Shu fought desperately to defend, he gradually fell into a losing position. Spotting an opening, Zhao Zilong lunged his spear straight for Yuan Shu's throat. Terrified, Yuan Shu dodged in panic; the spear grazed his cheek.

Unrelenting, Zhao Zilong drew his bow in one fluid motion while turning on horseback. The bowstring sang, and an arrow flew straight toward Yuan Shu. Unable to evade, Yuan Shu instinctively blocked with his hand. Yet the arrow's force was overwhelming — it pierced straight through his palm and, with remaining momentum, struck his mouth, knocking out two front teeth.

"Argh!" Yuan Shu screamed in agony, clutching his mouth as blood gushed between his fingers. He stared at Zhao Zilong in terror, overwhelmed by fear. At that moment, Cyno also closed in, his spear pointed directly at Yuan Shu. Knowing he could not withstand these two fierce warriors, Yuan Shu panicked and loudly ordered a retreat.

Seeing their commander flee, Yuan Shu's army fell into chaos. They threw away their weapons and armor, scrambling out of the port. Zhao Zilong and Cyno led their armies in a triumphant pursuit, and the shouts of battle shook the heavens. Hiding indoors, the people of Port Ormos watched through their windows, hearts filled with excitement and joy.

After the battle, Port Ormos was successfully liberated. Standing on the port's walls, Zhao Zilong and Cyno gazed at the renewed harbor, filled with emotion. Though they came from different worlds, they fought side by side to uphold justice and peace, forging a legendary transcendent war.
