After breakfast and their discussion, Jake stood outside, waving as Grace and Aria headed down the street toward where Samu'dra was staying.
"See you two later!"
Grace waved back cheerfully, while Aria turned around and gave him a small nod before continuing after her.
Jake watched them disappear into the crowd before finally lowering his hand.
"…Sigh."
He let out a long breath and rubbed the back of his neck.
"Well, at least they'll have something to do."
With that, he turned in the opposite direction and glanced toward the city library.
His expression gradually became serious.
"All right, time to get to work."
After all, there were still plenty of things he needed to learn before setting sail, not to mention the many details of this world he had yet to uncover.
And what better place to start than the library?
