Chapter 1 - Move In Day

"It's so cold here... It's like an eternal winter just without the snow..." I grumbled as I pulled my jacket closer to me. I stepped out of the car and looked around. Why does it have to be so cold here. I want to go back to the sun. Not here. Where it's freezing cold and rather dark.

"Oh little Sister, you'll be okay. You'll get used to this. " My other brother, Axel, walked around and greeted me with a hug. He' been here after mom and dad split up. He came to the Night-Dial with mom, and I stayed with dad in the Sun-Dial. I was used to the warmth and the nice summer breeze. This cold..this cold hurt my bones. And I didn't like that

"Does it always hurt like this?" I looked at Axel. His skin was like a white Lily. It was smooth and was awell. He didn't have freckles like i did, and he certainly didn't have my tan. But we both had the same eyes. We both have one dark blurple eye and one firey red eye. We get it from our parents. Our mom was native to the Night-Dial and had a blue-purplish eyes, and our father was native to the Sun-Dial and fire red eyes.

"Also your cousin, Alison is coming to visit"

Mom said as she came out to greet us. I didn't smile. I couldn't stand Alison. Alison was mom's sister's daughter. She is, in a simple term, a stuck up bitch. She would brag about anything. My brother didn't seem so keen on this either.

"Mooom whyy" Axel cried as we entered the house. The house seemed to be colder than outside. I let out a chilling breath. My eyes widened as I could see my own breath. I didn't like this.

"Because Axel, She wanted to come see you and your sister." Mom stated in a matter of factly manner. I just scoffed and rolled my eyes. Me and Axel both knew better. She didn't want to just see us. She wanted to brag and annoy us. She wanted to irritate us and piss us off and play victim once she did. It never worked on dad though. No matter how hard she tried, dad always saw through her schemes.

And that made us happy. But unfortunately it was why mom and dad divorced. They constantly fought over her and her schemes. Dad tried to tell mom but mom never listened. In mom's eyes, Alison could never do no harm and is never wrong. She is 'perfect Angel sent from gods of the heavens'. Ick right? Yeah she gives me and Alex the biggest Ick of all time.

"How long do we have to tolerate the wicked bitch from the middle?" I grumbled, not really caring if I got heard. And heard I was since mom hit me upside the head.

"Be nice, and she's staying for three years, the same amount of time as you Sariena". That earned another groan from me and Axel.

"oh and Sariena, you and Alison will be sharing a room together"

W H A T

"MOM WHAT? SERIOUSLY? You said that I could have my own room!" I said, very clearly not happy. I did not want to be sharing a room with that bitch.

"I know, but I couldn't bare the thought of being uncomfortable, she wanted your room and.. She was crying" I gritted my teeth. "Fine, give her my room, and I'll take the spare." I didn't want to be near her. I knew why she wanted my room. It was the second largest and it was right between mom's and Axels. For some weird and disgusting reason she seemed to have an obsession with Axel.

"Are you sure Ser?" I rolled my eyes

"Yes mom, I'm sure, come on Axel. I'm gonna need help moving out of my room" I said, going upstairs, and opening the door to my now old bedroom. It was very clean and organized, and the walls were painted to match my favorite color, Scarrlet red. I sighed knowing that I would have to repaint and redecorate my now new room. If mom will allow me.

"Alright, let's get started" I said, moving to pick up my dresser. Axel went to the other side and we lifted it and moved it to the spare bedroom. It took us close to two hours to clean out my old room but we managed. Mom came up stairs, sighing

"Your cousin will be here soon and I need to take her to the mall so she can decorate her new room." She stated as she walks in to my old room and just stands there. "Why is it so empty?" She looks like she's going to blow a fuse.

"Because we took everything out? What did you expect us to do? Just leave everything?" Axel interjected before I could say anything. What did mom really want me to do? It was my belongings that I had paid for myself since mom didn't help me. "I told Alison that she wouldn't have to worry about furniture" She looked at me guilty "Mom, Ser bought all of this with her own hard earned money. All you did was provide the room" Axel was always so quick to protect and defend me.

I sighed, "Yeah mom I bought all of this myself. I should be able to keep it all" I said, organizing my shelves and putting my clothes away in the closet and dressers

"Plus it'll be easier to repaint her new room" I said, my tone was flat and disinterested.

I kept organizing my room, ignoring my mom. I didn't want to keep talking to her. She just scoffed and left my room and slammed the door.

"For someone who has a no slamming door rule, she tends to break that rule a lot" Axel said once she left the house. I laughed and sat on the bed. "So what story do you think Alison is going to fabricate this time?" I asked, laying back on the bed. I moved over for Axel to sit down next to me. "I honestly do not know. I mean her parents are fine. Maybe she got into the same academy we both got into" Axel layed down next to me and stared at the ceiling like I was. I groaned at that

"I would rather die in the most embarrassing way than to being in the same school, let alone be in the same room with Alison" I said, taking one of my throw pillows and covering my face with it. I sighed as Axel took the pillow away from me.

"It's not gonna be that bad, you're in for dancing and professional photography, I'm in for music production, and I guarantee you she's in for acting since she wants to be an actress so bad". He does have a point. We're all gonna be in different classes and the Academy is really big. So maybe it won't be so bad.

" Alright. How bad could it really be?" I smiled, unknowingly of what the future is going to hold. My brother just shook his head and ruffled my hair. Well, I guess somethings don't change. I couldn't help but giggle at my brother.
