Tyson and Maverick were just laughing at Maverick's comment when Monica came from behind and hugged Tyson while crying. Bell ran to her father in tears. TJ pounced on Tyson and Monica and licked both of them as they all laughed. That is when they decided to head back.
[ Back at the lizardman settlement ]
Tyson sat before the lizardman elder and shaman. The others were receiving first aid. Tyson was lost in thought and he unintentionally removed an aura of malice since he was thinking of the situation he just left. The others were too afraid to even think about interrupting his train of thought. This went on until Monica came in and shook him out of it. He snapped out of it rather calmly; he even asked here what was up." Do you think you can contain that bloodlust. You are scaring the tribe," Monica asked.
" Huh, what do you mean?" Tyson asked when Monica pointed at the elder and shaman who were short of breath," Oh, I'm so sorry about that. I was just deep in thought," as he took a bow.
" Don't mind it young prince, it's a normal thing thing to experience for what you went through," said the elder.
" Elder I have a request and I hope you don't deny me," said Tyson raising his head a bit to look at the dinosaur in the eye.
" Sure, if its something i can do then i will definitely help you. I mean its the best I can do for the one who saved our homeland," said the elder.
" Then, tell me all you know about Indra," Tyson said making the whole tent gasp.
The elder and the shaman gained a solemn expression and nodded their heads in agreement. Their only condition was that the saint, enemy of all creatures of the night, be sent outside of the tent until their discussion was over. Tyson looked at Monica and she nodded. She walked out and guards stood at the entrance to avoid eavesdroppers. She decided to go check on the others.
Monica entered an area with green flames. A young female lizardman was busy finishing up Maverick's bandages as Bell was playing with TJ. Audine was busy practicing her archery with Priscilla going through the magic books owned by the lizardmen. Rocks was also there doing physical training since only the medics are allowed to hold blades in the area. Monica decided to join Maverick who was now checking the functionality of his fixed arm. She asked him how he and Tyson met up because she was genuinely curious. This sparked a discussion where even she was asked how their adventures went. The ones who were training joined in to listen to the tale of heroism.
[ Two hours later ]
Tyson entered the area with a look of horror and the squad of smiles and laughter was caught aback. They were about to speak when the elder entered after him and asked them not to ask him anything. The shaman followed and started treatment on Tyson's mind. Monica blew up and grabbed the elder by the collar and asked him what happened. The elder glared at her as his guards raised their swords. He said," Saint, I want you to remember that we are not human but monsters. Hence the authority you hold with humans is useless before me and my people."
He grabbed her hand and threw her to the ground. The others exclaimed but the guards were the only ones who were armed. The medic stood at the entrance not letting them in since the law was tradition. The elder said," The only reason we even treated with any respect is because master Tyson was accompanying you. Know you place."
He had the eyes of a man who went through a war and lost more than words could describe. The shaman was finishing up as the elder walked towards Tyson." For your information, The info we passed onto young master Tyson seemed to have an extreme reaction. His mind turned like this as soon as we finished," said the elder.
Then an explosion of malicious aura erupted. In an instant, the elder's head was flying through the sky. It hit the ground and plopped in front of Monica. The shaman moved back before stumbling over a stool and falling over. He was in fear at the sheer sight of Tyson making him bow to the ground just to avoid looking at him. All the lizardmen fell to the ground in penance according to the shaman's warning. Tyson levitated into the air and his body straightened up. He faced Monica and hovered towards her. In a light and near motherly voice he said," My oh my, so you are the saint. Now I see why my descendant is so smitten with you. ( Monica blushed as she asked the only question to come to mind 'what?' ). I don't think I will maintain this control for long so I have to take this chance to kill you saint. Your death will lead to what i want Tyson to become."
Tyson raised an arm at her and blood started to build up. The others tried to come and save up but they were not fast enough. Monica raised her arms to attempt to block the attack and closed her eyes. Tyson's attack built up well until it started to glow a bright golden light." What? What the heck is going on with my attack," said Tyson in shock as the attack was growing in size and radiance.
" What?" asked Monica in shock.
" Monica," came the voice that hit Monica telepathically and she tried to look at Tyson but he was spiraling into anger since he had no control over the attack," It's me Tyson, someone took over my body and I'm barely holding on. I need you to take control of the attack that i prepared for you. Its all the holy mana I got from your blood."
Monica did not hesitate. She raised her palms and ignited the mana bomb. It blew up and healed everyone who was injured in the entire settlement, all except for Tyson who's skin was burned drastically." I will get you back for this, just you wait saint," said Tyson in that feminine voice.
" Um, is she gone?" Tyson asked in his normal voice as everyone rejoiced.
Monica was still on edge but as soon as Tyson's burns started to heal over, she calmed down. Tyson did not waste time in his next decision. He said for everyone to prepare to head for the Roux kingdom. No one dared defy that order seeing as the now healed lizardmen were now raising arms at them.
After a while, the team was running down the road being chased by lizardman soldiers." Is it really okay that we are leading this many lizardmen to civilization?" Bell asked riding TJ.
" Don't worry, my father has prepared measures for situations like this," said Audine.
" Wow, your father must be an important person to be able to do that," said Bell.
" Well of course," she said proudly," Because my father is the KING."
