Jay's POV (Leaving the Restaurant)
The dinner had been incredible—the food, the view, the soft music—but none of it compared to just being with Keifer.
As we stepped out of the restaurant, the city lights twinkled all around us. A gentle evening breeze carried the faint scent of flowers from nearby trees. I shivered slightly, and Keifer noticed immediately.
"Cold?" he asked, draping his jacket over my shoulders.
"Just a little," I admitted, smiling at the warmth of his gesture.
He took my hand, fingers entwining with mine naturally, like they had always belonged together.
"Come on," he said softly. "I want to show you something."
Keifer's POV (Walking with Jay)
I led her along a quiet street lined with small cafes and glowing lamps. The city buzzed softly in the background, but here, it felt like the world had slowed just for us.
I glanced at her and couldn't help the smile that spread across my face. Her hair caught the light of the streetlamps, and she looked… breathtaking. I tightened my grip on her hand slightly.
"Jay," I whispered, leaning a little closer, "today has been perfect. And I want every day with you to feel like this."
She looked up at me, eyes wide, and I could see her heart in them.
"Keifer…" she murmured, and I could hear the smile in her voice.
I reached out, brushing a loose strand of hair from her face. "I mean it. I'll never stop wanting to be with you, Jay. Not for a second."
Jay's POV (The First Night Walk)
We stopped near a small park with a fountain, water sparkling under the lamplight. Keifer held my hand as we sat on a nearby bench, the gentle splash of water filling the silence.
"I can't believe this is real," I whispered.
"It is real," he said softly. "I promise you, Jay. Every word I said today, every feeling, it's all real. You're mine, and I'm yours."
My chest tightened. My heart felt like it might burst from happiness. I leaned against him, letting myself feel the warmth of his body, the security in his arms.
Then, as if we needed another reminder of this perfect night, he tilted my chin up and kissed me softly.
It wasn't the playful kiss from earlier—it was tender, deep, full of promise. Every ounce of love and devotion he had for me was in that kiss, and I melted into it completely.
When we finally pulled apart, we rested our foreheads together, breathing softly.
"I love you, Keifer," I whispered.
"I love you too, Jay," he replied, pressing a soft kiss to my forehead.
For a while, we just sat there, hand in hand, letting the city lights and the quiet night surround us.
And in that moment, I knew—no matter what happened, nothing could ever break what we had.Jay's POV (Arriving Home)
The night had been perfect. The dinner, the walk, the quiet moments under the city lights—it all felt like a dream I never wanted to end.
Now, the car slowed in front of my house. I glanced out the window, my heart still fluttering from everything that had happened.
"Here we are," Keifer said softly, turning to look at me.
I smiled, a little reluctantly. "Thank you… for today. For everything."
He reached over, gently brushing a strand of hair from my face. "Jay, I'll never stop wanting to make you happy. Every moment with you is special, and I promise this is only the beginning."
My chest tightened. I wanted to stay in the car forever, wrapped in the warmth of his presence, but reality called me back.
"I had the best day of my life," I whispered, my voice soft.
"Me too," he said, smiling. His hand lingered on mine for a moment before he let go. "Goodnight, Jay."
Jay's POV (Stepping Inside)
I stepped out of the car, my legs trembling slightly, and he pulled me into a quick, soft hug. I could feel his heartbeat, steady and warm, and I pressed my cheek against his chest for just a moment.
"Sleep well, Jay," he murmured.
"You too, Keifer," I replied.
He smiled one last time, then stepped back and watched me go inside. I closed the door behind me, leaning against it for a moment, letting the happiness from the night sink in.
The house was quiet, and everything felt still. But I knew one thing for sure—tonight had changed everything.
