They slowly turned around — and froze in shock.
Standing before them was Aira.
Behind her stood several others, all armed. Swords gleamed in their hands, along with various weapons. The air felt tense.
When I saw them, my heart skipped a beat.
They came looking for us.
"Aira… how did you know we were here?"
She looked at me, slightly out of breath.
"When neither you nor Hinata showed up, I felt something was wrong. I couldn't see either of you anywhere. I just… had a bad feeling. So I started searching."
I frowned. "But how did you know this exact place?"
She hesitated.
"It felt like someone was calling me. I couldn't understand it clearly. But a voice kept echoing in my ears… saying that Ayal and Hinata were in danger. I didn't know what was happening, but I couldn't ignore it."
Her words left me confused.
Who could possibly send her our location?
"I'm just glad you two are safe," she said with relief.
Then her eyes fell on me.
