After finishing off Ethan, Enforcer Robin was chasing Yohan. On the other side, Commander Broody had launched an attack with his boys against the remaining members of the Hayes Gang. After a merciless brutal fight, the Hayes Gang was left in a near-broken state. Broody finally stopped and looked toward Rodriguez before asking, "Before we finish them, should we ask if they can be taken into the gang? We could use the extra manpower."
Rodriguez pushed himself away from the wall and stood up. "Nah. We don't need them. They're a liability. The Boss and the Disciplinarian only care about the other Crew Heads. And after what you did to that bastard, there's no use in taking his gang either."
Rodriguez's last words were spoken while looking at Ethan's lifeless body.
"Okay."
With that, Broody twisted the neck of the boy he was holding, ending his struggle.
Meanwhile, Rodriguez tried calling Robin. But there was no answer for a long time. Suddenly, one of their men shouted from the mouth of the alley, "Sir! The police are coming!"
"Police?!"
An alarm spread throughout the alley.
Rodriguez quickly shoved his phone back into his pocket and ordered everyone, "There's no point standing around anymore. Everybody run!!!"
Every member of Wild Stomp immediately fled for their lives, running until the sound of the police vehicles had completely disappeared into the distance.
Mr. James was a longtime resident of the area. Among his many friends was Mr. Brannan, a police inspector stationed in the area. After receiving Mr. James's desperate request over the phone, he gathered the necessary details about Yohan and immediately left the police station.
Following the sound of the police vehicles, Rodriguez and the members of Wild Stomp had already fled. The police entered the alley and discovered the injured bodies of numerous young men scattered throughout the area.
Mr. James's phone began to ring. The caller was Mr. Brannan.
"Jonathan, the situation is very serious. It looks like the city may be facing another gang war. We just found a gang inside an alley. But the frightening part is that they have already been caught up in some kind of gang conflict. The gang's head and another member have been killed, while nearly forty other members are seriously injured. We've called ambulances. We'll try to stabilize them and get them into custody as quickly as possible. But we're more concerned about the other gangs still roaming around the city."
Hearing those words, Mr. James trembled.
"Then... what about Yohan?"
Mr. Brannan immediately tried to reassure him. "We'll find Yohan today. Don't worry. We're extremely busy right now, but we're handling the situation. Stay calm."
The call ended.
Fear pounded inside Mr. James's chest. But he decided not to tell his daughter about the news. Luna was already extremely worried about Yohan. If she heard about a possible gang war as well, it would only make her more stressed.
Meanwhile, deep inside the dark, overgrown part of the park, something entirely different was happening.
Robin was running tirelessly through the vegetation with his men, searching every corner for Yohan.
Sweat ran down Robin's forehead as worry crept into his voice.
"Shit! He escaped into the woods again."
In reality, when Yohan had entered the park and appeared in front of them, he had deliberately drawn their attention before disappearing back into the darkness of the vegetation. Since then, they hadn't been able to see him.
But something far more terrifying had happened.
One by one, members of Robin's team were mysteriously disappearing.
Fifteen men had entered the park with Robin. Now there were only seven.
The last time they had seen Yohan, he had been sitting on a tree branch above them. His body was almost completely concealed by the darkness, while his pale green eyes glowed from the shadows. Then they had chased after him, and he disappeared again. They never saw him after that.
Eventually, only one man remained beside Robin. Robin suddenly stopped and turned around.
The man was gone too.
Robin froze. He was now completely alone.
In the darkness surrounding him, the realization finally struck him: he had fallen into the hands of an enemy he had never expected.
Fear crept through him. Robin slowly looked around. There was no one.
No footsteps.
No movement.
Nothing.
Gathering his courage, he suddenly shouted, "YOHAN! WHERE THE HELL ARE YOU?"
His voice echoed through the trees.
Silence followed.
Not even a rustle.
Robin nervously turned around, and then a voice came from above, "I'm here."
Robin slowly raised his head. High above him, on a thick tree branch, someone was sitting in the darkness, balanced casually on his feet. Two pale green eyes glowed from beneath the shadows as they stared directly at him.
Robin instinctively took two steps backward. Fear was visible in his eyes, yet he forced a smile onto his face, "What the hell are you?"
Yohan's eyes darted around, taking in his surroundings. Then he leaped down onto the ground. Dust rose into the air.
Robin immediately understood that there was something different about Yohan.
"Why are you guys after me?" Yohan asked. "Because of Yino?"
Robin adjusted his glasses. "We'll figure that out. But before that, where are my boys?"
Yohan pushed the hair falling over his forehead back with both hands, "They're where they belong. But…" Yohan began walking toward Robin. "There's a world of difference between you guys and them. Hella weak!"
Robin was startled, "Weak?"
Yohan looked directly into his eyes, "Yeah. Weak, " he stopped right in front of Robin, "You don't need long to figure out who's strong and who isn't. I understood everything from the alley."
Anger was clearly visible in Robin's eyes, "So you think my boys are weak? The ones Broody and I have trained for all this time?"
Yohan thought about it for a moment after hearing that. Then he looked at Robin again, "Then that's their fault. If anyone gets trained by you two, they're supposed to become at least a decent fighter."
Robin said nothing.
Yohan continued, "Let me tell you something. In an open place without much light and full trees like this, you won't find a more dangerous fighter than me," he placed a hand on Robin's shoulder, "Especially when you can see my eyes glowing."
Hearing those words, Robin suddenly looked up. Yohan's expressionless face stared back at him, his two green eyes gleaming with an eerie light.
"So this is his…"
Robin didn't get to finish the thought. He suddenly knocked Yohan's hand away and threw a roundhouse kick at him. Yohan narrowly avoided the kick by moving his head backward.
But Robin didn't notice that Yohan had already grabbed the collar of his shirt. Taking advantage of the opening, Yohan snapped upright and slammed a powerful punch straight into Robin's cheek. Robin was sent flying backward and crashed against a tree.
He was almost knocked unconscious, but he slapped his own cheek to keep himself awake. When he looked forward, Yohan was already there, throwing another punch with his other hand.
This time, Robin supported himself with one hand and kicked toward Yohan's face. Yohan blocked the kick with his opposite forearm, protecting his face, while his other fist smashed into the tree behind Robin.
Using the opening, Robin performed a handspring and landed a short distance away. Then he leaped toward Yohan and launched a lightning-fast front kick.
Yohan managed to dodge it. But Robin landed against the tree behind him, twisted his body, and immediately launched another kick toward Yohan. Yohan had already seen this move in the alley, "That same wall rebound."
Before Robin's kick could land, Yohan drove a powerful punch into his stomach. Robin collapsed with a heavy thud. Yohan then tried to stomp on his face, but Robin somehow managed to escape. He scrambled away and got back to his feet, "What the hell? That wasn't how it was in the alley!"
Yohan stared at Robin from a distance. Robin was clutching his stomach, breathing heavily and sweating. Yohan thought to himself, "Hmm. He's got speed. He can escape when he needs to."
But Robin's condition was getting worse. A thought kept hammering inside his mind, "I have to do something. Otherwise, he'll chew through this entire gang!" he adjusted his glasses again, "What if I take a gamble?
With that thought, Robin suddenly charged straight toward Yohan with all his strength. As soon as he reached Yohan, he threw a straight kick toward his face.
"He'll dodge this."
And sure enough, Yohan dodged.
Robin passed over Yohan's body and landed on the ground, immediately following up with another side kick aimed at his face.
Yohan dodged that too.
Then Robin launched a spinning heel kick.
Yohan dodged that as well.
But Robin had been setting everything up.
Yohan had been focused on defending his upper body, leaving his lower body relatively open. Taking advantage of that opening, Robin used the momentum of his spinning heel kick to sweep Yohan's leg out from under him, sending him to the ground.
Robin then performed a back handspring, increasing the distance between them. Then he charged toward Yohan again, this time even faster.
Yohan remained on the ground, staring at Robin. His green eyes tracked Robin's movement. Robin's knee was coming straight toward his face at tremendous speed. A victorious smile appeared on Robin's face, "Finally!"
But at that moment, for just one second, Yohan remembered the alley. He remembered when Robin had used this exact same move against Ethan's face. And then—
His body stopped listening to him. In the blink of an eye, Yohan sprang up from the ground.
BOOM!
Meanwhile in their house, Mr. James was sitting in his room, resting his chin on his hand. Luna sat in a chair in front of him, worry clearly written across her face.
Mr. James said, "No one has called yet."
Just then, the doorbell rang. He immediately stood up. Luna followed closely behind him. When Jonathan opened the door, he found Yohan standing outside, his clothes covered in dust. Jonathan quickly brought him inside and took him to his room. But Yohan said, "I'm fine. Nothing serious happened."
Father and daughter were both surprised. Jonathan gently placed a hand on Yohan's shoulder. Calmly, he said, "Two boys came to the house. Gangsters, probably. They were looking for you. Tell me the truth. What happened outside?"
He pressed Yohan for answers, but he rubbed his face with both hands, "Uncle… I'll tell you later. I'm tired right now. Just give me some ice. I'll tell you everything tomorrow."
Reasonable enough, They sent Yohan upstairs. He entered his room and sat down on his bed. Then he stared at his left fist.
When Robin had come at Yohan's face with his knee, Yohan had felt something he had experienced very few times during a fight before.
Fear.
He had seen what happened to Ethan after taking that move.
At that moment, his body had stopped thinking. It had simply reacted on its own. In one sudden movement, Yohan twisted to the side and drove his left fist into the back of Robin's head with tremendous force.
BOOM!
Everything had happened in less than two seconds.
Robin hit the dirt, his glasses flying away. Yohan watched him stop moving. Then Yohan himself dropped to the ground, sitting there and struggling to breathe. The hair on his body stood on end.
Slowly, an unbearable tension began spreading through his body. Just like before, he clutched his stomach and collapsed onto the ground. He finally managed to sit up after enduring the pain for a while.
Robin was still lying face-first in the dirt.
"Hell yeah!" the words escaped Yohan's mouth on their own, fueled by excitement.
He stood up and began limping away from the area filled with trees.
"My mind felt fear? Holy Detroit!"
He stopped.
He took a long, deep breath.
"Inhale."
Then he slowly breathed out.
"Exhale."
Then he started walking again.
"Ignore."
He released his grip on his stomach and straightened himself. Then he began walking normally. He brushed the dust off his clothes and walked out of the park.
