Armament Haki?
Kuina and Zoro were both stunned, clearly not understanding what Dragon was talking about.
They turned to look at Cyrus.
Ivankov's eyes on his large head stared at Cyrus.
He knew Koshiro could use Haki, but training Haki required a certain foundation, and frequent use was also a burden on the body.
In Koshiro's eyes, had this kid already reached the stage of awakening Haki?
As for Cyrus, he looked at Dragon, who had three blood-red question marks above his head, and then nodded.
"I see!" Dragon said, then sat down directly.
"Training Haki isn't actually difficult. In the Calm Belt of the New World, there's an island of women where the vast majority of people have mastered impressive Haki."
"Amazon Lily!" Cyrus nodded and said.
"You actually know that? It seems you know quite a lot." Dragon said with a smile.
"Before I came to Shimotsuki Village, I saw a newspaper article about the empress of the Amazon Lily kingdom becoming a Shichibukai."
Cyrus nodded, mentioning this matter.
"If it's just about properly guiding out Armament Haki, it's actually not that difficult."
As Dragon spoke, he suddenly raised his hand and grabbed at Cyrus, his palm coated in dark Armament Haki.
Cyrus was startled.
With his Observation Haki active, he subconsciously raised his arm to block the incoming hand.
Then, his wrist was gripped tightly by Dragon.
Subconsciously, Cyrus was about to use his Elemental Transformation, but the part being held couldn't be elementalized.
Dragon was taken aback for a moment, then a smile appeared on his face.
The Armament Haki on his hand flowed towards Cyrus's wrist, wrapping around it.
The next moment, Cyrus felt as if an energy within his body was resisting the Haki flowing over.
Before Cyrus could clearly investigate this energy, Dragon had already withdrawn his hand.
"That is your own Armament Haki. Not just anyone can use this method." Dragon said with a smile, his gaze towards Cyrus seeming to hold a deeper meaning.
'A Devil Fruit user, and a Logia Type at that.'
Cyrus didn't speak.
Under the gazes of the four, he remained quiet for a while before raising his arm.
Armament Haki emerged.
Zoro and Kuina couldn't perceive it, but Dragon and Ivankov could sense it very clearly.
"It works like this?"
Seeing Armament Haki appear on his status panel, Cyrus was also quite surprised.
"You still need to train your Armament Haki. If you want to use this method to help others, you'll need a much deeper mastery of Armament Haki."
Dragon didn't hide anything.
Actually, even if he hadn't said it, Cyrus had a rough idea.
He hadn't expected that Armament Haki could be wrapped around another person, nor that his own hidden Armament Haki—or rather, this energy—would react on its own when encountering someone else's Armament Haki.
"Thank you!"
No matter what, Dragon had helped him, so a word of thanks was necessary.
"No need for thanks. Consider it my way of thanking you."
Thanks to Cyrus, Koshiro's side had collected much more food, which was a great help to the Revolutionary Army.
That's why Dragon said so.
After speaking, Dragon stood up, waved his hand, and turned to walk back towards the dojo with Ivankov.
Cyrus and the other two watched them leave.
"Cyrus, what were you guys talking about just now?"
After watching Dragon and Ivankov leave, Kuina turned and asked Cyrus with a puzzled look.
"Haki. It's a power that people inherently possess. If you want to become a master swordsman or even a great master swordsman in the future, this is something you must master. The powerhouses on the sea all have very profound Haki training."
Cyrus thought for a moment and explained to the two.
Haki training required a foundation and placed a certain burden on the body.
Frequent use was detrimental to one's health, so it was normal that Koshiro hadn't told them about it yet.
As for Zoro, if he hadn't gotten lost at sea and been unable to find his way back to Shimotsuki Village, Koshiro might have taught him to master Haki.
As for Kuina...
Cyrus glanced at Kuina, then stood up.
"It's still too early for you to learn Haki. When you're ready, the dojo master will teach you."
After saying that, Cyrus left directly.
Kuina and Zoro looked at each other.
"This is a power that all strong people have. I must master it." When Zoro said this, his face was full of yearning.
Kuina nodded silently.
'So, to become a powerhouse, the body was just one of the conditions!'
'Haki, huh?' Kuina decided to go ask her father about it.
...
On the other side.
Dragon and Ivankov returned and met with Koshiro.
"How was he?"
Seeing the two return, Koshiro asked with a smile.
"A fine young man." Dragon nodded.
"Then..." Koshiro looked directly at Dragon, only to see him shake his head.
"He has no intention of going to sea right now."
Koshiro nodded upon hearing this.
"But he is indeed a Devil Fruit user, most likely a Logia Type user." Dragon said.
Ivankov was listening, and when he heard Dragon say this, he nearly jumped.
"That little brat is a Logia Type user?" Ivankov was dumbfounded.
Devil Fruits weren't a dime a dozen, let alone a Logia Type.
The three top-tier Logia combatants in the Marines were extremely famous and powerful on the sea.
"Most likely." Dragon nodded.
"Chief, should we recruit him into the Revolutionary Army?"
Ivankov was clearly tempted.
A Logia Type user, as long as they didn't slack off, would become a top-tier combatant in the future.
"Difficult! That young man's gaze isn't right, just as Koshiro said."
Dragon shook his head directly.
"I don't know why he looks at everyone with that kind of gaze. Although he may try his best to hide it, that seemingly innate sense of superiority is always there."
Dragon sighed.
He was actually a bit disappointed, for the same reason as Ivankov.
"It's not like there's no chance. He's still young, after all."
Koshiro smiled, changing the subject.
"True!"
Dragon nodded at his words and didn't dwell on the matter.
...
After returning, Cyrus guided out his Haki and maintained it.
The quality was naturally inferior to Koshiro's and Dragon's.
But having just mastered this power, Cyrus was very curious about Armament Haki.
He even tried to infuse it into his flames, but of course, he didn't succeed.
For his Haki training, besides asking Koshiro for guidance later, Cyrus planned to keep it active all the time.
By using it more, he would surely improve and master more applications.
Of course, his health was also decreasing while using Haki, though the speed wasn't fast.
But Armament Haki was different from Observation Haki; it was also a huge drain on stamina.
The next day, before dawn, Cyrus, who hadn't slept all night, left the dojo directly.
By the time the sun rose, he returned to the dojo, drenched and carrying a sea fish several meters long.
