Queen Otohime was in the process of childbirth. Outside, King Neptune paced back and forth, worry written on his face. Fisher Tiger stood nearby, silently watching the door.
Suddenly, the cry of a newborn echoed from the room. A mermaid emerged, smiling as she approached Neptune.
"Congratulations, Your Majesty. It's a boy."
Neptune's face lit up with joy. He entered the room and saw Otohime holding the child in her arms.
"Your Majesty, it's a boy," the mermaid repeated.
"Thank you, my queen, for giving me a son and prince of Fish-Man Island," Neptune said, beaming.
"Congratulations, Your Majesty," Tiger said, stepping forward to look at the baby.
The child blinked, bewildered, taking in the scene. Where am I? Who am I? Is that mermaid… is that Fisher Tiger? Was I born into the One Piece world?
Listening to their conversation, he realized he was the first child of Otohime and Neptune. Sea Calendar 1485… that means I'm 37 years behind the main story. Gol D. Roger is alive, Whitebeard is young, Rocks has died, Big Mom is alive, and Golden Lion is still active.
What kind of hellish start is this? In the main story, characters grow from weak to strong, but in this world, there are already countless powerful men. Where is my gold finger? How can I survive without it? Being a fish-man gives me some strength, but I am far weaker than any average strong fighter. Fish-Man Karate isn't stronger than the Navy's six styles, and my Haki is no better.

If lucky, you may undergo another evolution above fish-man, transforming into a Poseidon-type species (not the ancient weapon), granting authority over water and sea creatures."

"Will it hurt? There are people nearby—won't they notice?"
"No. The potion will not hurt. It will only induce sleep. You will not be awake during the evolution process."
"Okay. Use the Evolution Potion."
