Jay's POV:
I was happy. He told me the truth himself. That means he is serious about us. He didn't want misunderstandings between us
But… I was also angry. How could this gago make such a stupid plan just for revenge?
Still, I wasn't giving him punishment because he made a plan. I was giving him punishment because when the plan stopped, he could have told me. But this gago hid it.
I crossed my arms.
Jay : You will not get any kisses today. Today you are banned from kisses.
His face dropped instantly. Like someone took a toy from a five-year-old kid. Started sulking.
Keifer : Baby, you can't do this to me. No kisses for today? I won't survive without it.
I chuckled at his antics and said softly.
Jay : Don't worry keif, you'll survive.
He groaned.
Keifer : Barely
I laughed under my breath.
He sat there with arms crossed, pouting, making puppy eyes at me. Trying his best tp melt me. On the other side, I kept telling myself, don't melt. Jay, get a grip.
When he saw I wasn't melting, he changed his plan. He started unbuttoning his shirt.
I raised my eyebrows.
Jay : What are you doing?
Keifer : I'm feeling hot . So, I'm taking it off.
He said innocently like he didn't trying to seduce me.
I looked away quickly. Great. This was his punishment, but now I was suffering.
I quickly changed the topic.
Jay : Did Section E find Yuri?
He shook his head. He didn't know.
He took his phone and called David to ask.
But the answer was the same. They couldn't find Yuri.
I knew he wanted to go search for Yuri earlier, but he stayed for me. That made my chest tight.
Now we couldn't wait anymore.
Jay : Keifer, let's go. We should find him.
He nodded. Didn't say anything. But I could see it. He was worried. He wore his shirt properly, then went to his tent. He came back holding two hoodies. He gave one to me.
Keifer : Wear this.
We went to the same place near the bridge… where everything happened. We started walking in the same direction where Yuri went. After some time, we met Felix, Denzel, and Eman. They said everyone made different teams to search. They went another way. Me and Keifer went in a different direction.
After searching for some minutes, I saw something on the ground. A piece of cloth.
My heart skipped. It was Yuri's t-shirt.
Jay : Oo my god...where is he?
I whispered to myself.
I was scared. So scared. And I knew Keifer was scared too, even if he didn't say it. At least now, we knew we were going the right way.
After almost half an hour, I saw someone lying on the ground.
Covered in mud. Clothes torn. Not moving.
I pointed quickly in that direction and said.
Jay : Keif..there is someone.
He looked. We ran to him. It was Yuri. We both knelt beside him. I touched his arm. He was burning.
Jay : He has very high fever. We need to take him to the clinic.
I said, my voice shaking. He nodded immediately.
Together, we took Yuri to the clinic. The doctor checked him and said.
Doctor : He needs rest. He has high fever because of cold. He also has bruises, maybe from twigs and sharp wood edges.
Keifer messaged the whole Section E that we found Yuri. Everyone came and saw his condition.
Then Sir Alvin came and said.
Sir alvin : Pack your bags. We are going back this afternoon.
Mayo and Drew stayed at the clinic with Yuri.
The rest of us went back to pack our things.
And all I could think was—thank God we found him… before it was too late.
While Section E was packing their bags, the whole place felt quiet. Too quiet. Everyone was worried about Yuri. No one was laughing. No one was teasing.
It felt strange… because Section E is never like this.
Eman, kit, blaster, and eren went to get food. The rest of us stayed near the tents. Then ci-n cleared his throat loudly and said looking around.
Ci-N : So, this is what happens when one person disappears. Full drama mode activated. Next time, let's add background music also.
Felix chuckled and said.
Felix : Yeah. I miss five minutes of chaos already.
Some people chuckled. The tension slowly broke.
That's when their eyes fell on me.
On me wearing Keifer's hoodie.
Ci-n gasped dramatically.
Ci-N : See, see! Wifeyy in husband's hoodie!
I snapped.
Jay : Shut up, you brat.
Felix grinned.
Felix : Husband and wife.
Edrix leaned closer, serious.
Edrix : You know that's one of his favorite hoodies, right? Limited edition.
Rory added, shocked.
Rory : He never gave his favorite hoodies to anyone. Guess what, jay is lucky!
I was seriously shocked. Favorite hoodie. Never gave to anyone. But now I'm his girlfriend and I'll steal his every single hoodie. Hehe
David grinned.
David : So… did you two do something when we were not here?
Me and Keifer both choked on air.
"NO!" we said together.
Someone whispered, "Are they together?"
Denzel laughed.
Denzel : Jay is blushing.
Calix pointed at me.
Calix : Her face looks like a tomato.
I quickly hid my face with the hoodie, then whispered.
Jay : Why am I even here among these ulupongs?
Keifer leaned closer and whispered only for me.
Keifer: Wifeyy, you look cute when you blush like that.
Heat crawled up my neck.
Before I could reply, he said louder.
Keifer : Okay, enough teasing for today. Complete your packing.
Everyone laughed and went inside their tents.
But Josh stayed back. I noticed him standing in the corner. He wasn't smiling. His eyes met mine. His look was unreadable… angry. Like he was blaming me for everything that happened to Yuri. My chest felt heavy. But, I ignored it.
I went inside my tent and started packing my bag.Then I took my clothes and went to the bathroom area to take a bath.
When I came back, Eman, Kit, Blaster, and Eren were already there with food. And Yuri was there too. He looked better now. Clean clothes. Sitting properly. I smiled.
Jay : Yuri, how are you feeling now?
Yuri : Much better, jay.
He said and sat beside me. Keifer sat on my other side.
We started eating. Keifer kept putting more food on my plate. I kept stealing food from his plate. I knew he noticed. He knew I was stealing. But he didn't say anything. We ate with full chaos.
Laughing. Teasing. Stealing food from each other's plates like always.
Then Sir alvin came.
Sir alvin: Everyone, take your luggage and follow me. We are going back.
We all stood up. The camp that started with fun…was ending with worry, relief, and too many feelings.
And I held my bag tight, hoping everything would be okay now.
