Chapter 33 - chapter 33

Miron (his eyes shining with madness):

"This is the place… the lifeline of the Darkius Alliance. If this artery is cut, Krystalis will fall a hundred years backward in a single second."

Nirar (adjusting the detonators on the main tanks):

"Ortenos, once I press this button, there's no turning back. Krystalis will be forced out of the alliance because it will become worthless to Frentsha."

Ortenos (looking toward the chains binding his people in the distance):

"Do it, Nirar. Freedom has a high price, and the darkness that comes from this explosion is lighter than the darkness people live under Rakion's whip."

Pikos (trembling):

"Friends… I'm scared. This explosion could shake the entire continent!"

Romilius:

"Prepare to run… history will be written in smoke tonight."

Nirar pressed the button. Silence filled the air for one second — then everything exploded.

A massive blast shook the foundations of the city. A giant fireball erupted from beneath the ground, tearing through the crystal sky. The lights in the palaces and factories suddenly went out, and the beautiful city turned into a mass of black chaos. In that moment, the envoy of Libon realized that the Darkius Alliance had lost its main "engine."

While all eyes were drawn to the explosion, Ajax moved calmly through the northern camp for political prisoners. He approached the main gate, where two elite soldiers stopped him.

First Soldier:

"Stop! The area is closed by Rakion's orders! Who are you?"

Ajax did not answer. In the blink of an eye, he slipped between them. He drove his black-gloved hand into the first soldier's chest — no blood came out, only purple energy that tore the soldier apart from within. He turned to the second, and with a swift motion of his hand, the soldier's armor shattered as if atmospheric pressure had suddenly multiplied around him.

Ajax entered the prison cells, where hundreds of innocent people trembled.

Ajax (in a calm, terrifying voice):

"Do not be afraid… I am here to free you. But freedom requires greater chaos."

He killed every soldier in his path in ways no human had ever witnessed before — one froze in place until he shattered like pottery, another's eyes ignited until his brain melted. It was brutality that felt almost "artistic" and calculated.

Ajax stopped in front of a mirror in the warden's office. He removed his hat and round glasses and wiped his face with a white cloth. Behind the disguise was a very familiar face — General Cassio, the youngest and most mysterious member of the military council.

Ajax (speaking to himself in the mirror):

"Rakion thinks he is the commander, and Miron thinks he is the revolutionary… but they are only pieces on my board. The explosion will drive Frentsha away from the city, and this is the perfect moment for me to claim the ruins."

He put his glasses back on and disappeared into the darkness, leaving behind a camp filled with torn bodies.

In Rakion's office — panic

A communications officer entered, trembling, his body covered in ash.

Officer:

"Commander Rakion, sir! Disaster! The central energy depot has been completely destroyed! The city has no power, and the weapons factories have stopped!"

Rakion (shouting as he smashes the table):

"Miron! I will kill him with my own hands!"

Officer (with a shaking voice):

"Sir… it's worse than that. The northern camp was attacked brutally. Hundreds of soldiers were killed in strange ways. The only survivor says the attacker was a single person… wearing a black coat and round glasses. They believe he is the one who destroyed the energy supply as well."

Rakion (suddenly stopping):

"One person? That's impossible! Miron doesn't have that kind of power, and the outsiders aren't that savage. Who is this devil moving through my city?"

The companions fled through tunnels that were beginning to collapse. They settled in the basement of an abandoned warehouse. Miron laughed hysterically as he watched smoke cover the sky.

Miron:

"We did it! Krystalis has fallen!"

Nirar (watching Miron cautiously):

"Miron… the explosion was massive, but something is strange. The frequencies I detected just before the blast weren't only from my charges. Someone else was interfering with the network… someone who wanted to destroy everything, not just disable it."

Ortenos:

"You mean we were just tools in someone else's hands?"

Romilius (looking toward the horizon):

"I smell Akadia in this betrayal. This manipulation resembles the methods of the old advisors… but with the power of the Second World. This mysterious person — whatever his name — used our revolution as cover for his own plan."

Darius:

"Whoever it is, we're now in the middle of the storm. Rakion will hunt anyone wearing a coat or carrying a sword."
