Vijay Narayan was a successful horror writer. His readers never got tired of his stories because he wrote about real events, not imagination. This time, he was going to write a story so real that it would change his life forever in a way he never expected.
Night Time – Green Island, The Haunted Ship
Vijay stood on the shore of Green Island, staring at the haunted ship. The ship he had heard about in rumors, legends, and forbidden stories.
"Finally," Vijay whispered to himself. "Today I'm standing in front of the haunted ship. This time, the story will be mine, and the whole world will read it."
He believed this story would make him even more famous. Money and fame were nothing new for him. But what awaited him was neither fame nor fortune. It was something far more terrifying.
Vijay wore a black jacket, simple lens glasses on his eyes, a wristwatch on his left hand, and a torch in his right hand. He pointed the torch toward the ship and stepped forward, slowly boarding it.
Inside, everything was dark. The ship looked like a living nightmare—black, burned, and silent. Ancient pictures hung on the walls, but most of them were destroyed by time and fire. According to history, 200 years ago, a fire broke out during an 18th birthday party of a boy named Johnson. Everyone on board died in that fire, including Johnson and his parents.
People believed their souls still wandered inside the ship. Anyone who entered never came back. They disappeared forever, taken into another world.
Vijay didn't believe in such stories. He kept walking deeper into the ship.
Suddenly, he stopped.
He heard a voice.
"Vijay… Vijay… where are you going, son? It's me, your uncle. Have you forgotten me?"
Vijay froze. His uncle Pratap Narayan had died three years ago from a heart attack.
Then who was calling him?
He realized one thing: he was no longer alone. And his chances of leaving this ship alive were very low.
Will Vijay escape the haunted ship, or will he become another mystery?
