Azrael.
I closed the door gently behind me when I stepped out of the cabin. The night air hit my face at once, sharp and cold, yet it felt strange against my skin.
Frost was still standing outside, waiting for me. He should have been asleep by now, but I knew he could not rest. There was too much on his mind. He wanted answers about what happened to me and how I woke up after lying still for so long.
"Rox asleep?" Frost asked as soon as I reached him.
"Not yet," I replied, sliding my hands into the pockets of the jacket I was wearing. The cold was harsh tonight. Normally I would not feel it this way... I was used to worse. But now the chill sank into me, touching my skin, my bones.
It was strange, and I hated that I could feel it. It had to be connected to what caused me to fall into that coma. Something inside me had changed.
Hopefully Raze would return with answers tonight. I needed something to hold on to.
