I quickly bent to pick my bag and dragged it to the wardrobe, leaving him alone. Trystan looked surprised that I did not answer his question, but I refused to give him the satisfaction.
His eyes stayed on me as I unpacked in silence. My heart was beating fast and loud, but I forced myself to stay calm. I would not tremble in front of him.
I reminded myself that the other princes were in the apex class and enjoyed a special respect. They were treated differently, feared differently, admired differently.
But I would not treat Trystan the same way. He was my classmate, nothing more, and I would not let him scare me.
"Do you know you are a weirdo?" His voice pulled me out of my thoughts.
I sighed and stopped what I was doing. He was really childish, and I wondered if he would ever grow up.
