The world has undergone a surge of calamity and opportunity at the same time. The formal clear blue sky was now tint with a crimson color. The air was no longer fresh but now contain surphur like substance in it and also filling the air with ash grey color.
Moving terrains has been destroyed, craters appears here and there making the citizen grows with only one instinct *survival instinct*.
Inside a dark alley road the silhouette of a person could be seen lying unconsciously on the floor, the silhouette whole body was riddled with injuries and scars even his ragged cloth can't cover his entire body.

His eyes snapped open, wide and unseeing at first, as if the world itself had shifted. He coughed violently, chest heaving, gasping for air that felt thick and heavy. His eyes were blurred he had to blink multiple times before it became clear.
Struggling the silhouette sat up and it was a young boy with a slimy tanned skin, his expression was quite pale and he was still having a difficult time catching his breath.
"H...uh is this hell" The boy spoke at this moment feeling confused as he started studying the surroundings, finding it quite strange especially the poisonous air.
The reason he thought he had arrived at hell was because he took his own life after falling into extreme despair.
His name was Max Arden, his was just some ordinary youth living together with his younger sister on earth. Their life was a worst one cause they where both orphans without anyone to rely on.
In other to live both siblings had no choice but to become street thief, turning themselves into pick pocket expert and never get caught.
They traumatized the community and became the torn in people's body, making the citizens resent them.
Both brothers and sisters did thievery for almost 6 years, then a calamity befall on them. By then Max was already 22 while his sister was only 17. An illness he had no idea about how it came by infected his beloved sister, but they thought it off until the illness escalated.
Max sister became paralyzed and can't move any of her limbs making Max gathered all their hard earn money for cure but all to no avail, Max sister was destined to die as the illness has never been seen before so a cure also doesn't exist.
But Max still didn't relent and try more options available until he was back been poor and can't even afford what to eat.
But on this day Max did something he had never done before, he knelt on the floor, gazing directly to the sky and muttered.
*Heaven I know you are there and I am here begging and swearing that if my sister can be free from her illness I will repent from been a thief"
But nothing unexpected happens and Max sister's condition continue to worsen day by day until she eventually passed away, Max fall into despair as he was filled with heart wrenching pain.
He has nothing to care about and the only thing he always felt was pain as he remembered his beloved sister, finally he ended up here.

Thinking about what had happened Max was again feeling his heart been twisted as he almost cried out loud, but a sudden pain hit his head making it ache as he gripped his head tightly.
Unknown memories, language, places he had no idea of began appearing in his brain, it was as if he was reliving his life again.
But he has no time to check through it has he was feeling deep agony. The more memories he received the more the pain grows.
After the pain ended and the foreign memories became imprinted in his brain like he was the that had lived through it Max finally takes in a deep breath as he gasp heavily.
Before he could register what had happened Max noticed his hands where little compared to his formal body, then he stared at his legs and he was also stupefied as it seems he had become younger and not only that his skin had become somehow pale.
"Ho..h...how is this possible"
"Is this a punishment in hell?.. wa... wait those foreign memories and this?"
"I've I been reincarnated after my death? Cause this memories I just received seems like I just live another life in this strange world and there are also strange things out there"
Immediately Max stared ahead and only now did he noticed little sun rays and there are no fire like hell was describe on earth.
Max immediately felt rejuvenated as he calm his nerves and began processing the memories he just received.
Assimilating a full memory is not quite easy as it took Max 3 hours to process all the memories and how he got here unconscious. But suddenly....

Max roared out in laughter as he hadn't expected that this world was quite interesting and not only that, this body has actually been killed by a thief, but what made him laugh in madness was the cruel life this body had lived.
From the memory he required that this body was also an orphan but this world is going through apocalypse as powerful being was born here and there even local animals evolve into collosal magical beasts.
Human now have the ability to control elements and those with that ability are called awakeners. His name was Jake in this world and he was one of those unlucky people that didn't awaken any ability.
And this type of people are called slaves by awakeners, and some cruel awakeners turn the people into punching bags or pigs to lure out magical beast.
Jake had been targeted by some poor awakeners going for his goods and money but he refused to give it and was beaten till he looses his consciousness, afterward he died because of the pain.
