After checking on Buneary, Peter continued on to open Dolliv's status panel:

Recently, Dolliv had been training Protect in the Dream Space and had already reached a basic level of mastery.
If it were to face Toucannon again now, it would hold an even greater advantage.
All that remained was continued leveling—evolving into its final form and rounding out its move pool. Once that was done, Dolliv would be fully complete.
"Hm…" Peter muttered softly.
"Looking at it this way, it's about time I started raising a new prospect…"
As he spoke, he failed to notice that the Pokémon Egg in his arms was beginning to emit a faint purple glow.
…
Before long, he arrived at Oreburgh Gym.
A Gym Battle was already underway.
Standing on opposite sides of the battlefield were Gym Leader Roark, and Paul, who had lost to Peter not long ago.
In the stands, Ash, Dawn, and Brock were discussing the match intensely.
"Oh? What a coincidence, Ash~" Peter said as he brought Buneary over and took a seat nearby, greeting the trio.
"Huh?! Peter? What are you doing here?" Ash exclaimed.
"Same as you," Peter replied with a smile.
"Came to watch Paul's match."
After a brief exchange, Peter turned his attention back to the battlefield—and frowned.
Paul's Electabuzz was being completely suppressed by Cranidos. After several Zen Headbutts, Electabuzz collapsed on the spot.
"Electabuzz is unable to battle! The winner is Oreburgh Gym Leader Roark!"
"Tch…" Paul recalled his Pokémon, clearly annoyed.
"I'll come back next time."
He bowed slightly, hands shoved into his pockets, and turned to leave.
Roark shook his head and extended a hand holding a Coal Badge.
"Your strength isn't bad. If this hadn't been a 2v3, you probably would've won. This badge—"
"No need!"
Paul cut him off coldly, his face dark.
He suddenly raised his hand and pointed toward the stands—straight at Peter.
"If a rookie Trainer like him can do it, then so can I. Goodbye."
And with that, he stormed out of the Gym.
Peter froze.
So… this guy lost because I won a 2v3… and decided to try it himself?
He awkwardly rubbed his nose.
Man… failing a 2v3 and having both rivals witness it firsthand… no wonder Paul's pride took a direct hit.
Still…
There was something oddly unsettling about it.
Paul hadn't even turned his head when Peter entered—so how did he pinpoint his exact location so accurately?
Peter's mouth twitched.
Why does this feel like some weird rival-CP energy…?
Just then, Ash suddenly jumped to his feet.
"Alright!! I've decided! I'm going to beat Gym Leader Roark with a 2v3 as well!"
Dawn & Brock: "Huh?!"
Roark & Peter: "???"
….
Reality soon proved one thing—
Rivals were truly magical creatures.
No matter how much they tried to talk him out of it, Ash was dead set on challenging Oreburgh Gym with a 2v3 format.
Left with no choice, Roark agreed to the match for the next day. As he did, he shot Peter a sideways glance—clearly blaming him for starting the whole 2v3 trend.
Peter replied with an embarrassed smile.
"It's not like I had a choice…"
"I really only had two Pokémon…"
He genuinely had no other option.
Because he really did only have two.
"Buzz…"
The moment his words fell, a wave of energy resonance erupted from his arms. Soft, milky-white light spilled out, bathing the surroundings.
"Hee~ Now you've got three~"
A playful yet gentle voice echoed directly in Peter's mind.
The white light slowly faded.
And in his arms—
Appeared a small, adorable Pokémon.
It resembled a tiny maid-like Pokémon.
Most of its body was a deep, lovely purple. Its face, neck, and chest down to its thighs were pure white—like a naturally formed maid outfit. Slender arms ended in white hands, while reddish-brown eyes were framed by dark purple, triangular lashes. Two drooping horn-like protrusions rested on the sides of its head, and behind it swayed two short tails—one white, one purple.
"Ai~"
The newborn Pokémon, barely half a meter tall, let out a soft cry and cuddled into Peter's arms, cutely acting spoiled.
Peter's smile stretched uncontrollably, his heart melting.
"This is… Indeedee?!"

It loves caring for people and Pokémon it cherishes. Having sensed its Trainer's care during incubation, it has grown deeply attached to its owner.
…
Indeedee was a Pokémon whose looks and strength both passed with flying colors.
It was also one of Peter's ideal core members for a Normal-type-focused team.
Its Hidden Ability, Psychic Surge, provided an immediate boost while nullifying priority moves.
Expanding Force fit perfectly into Baton Pass-oriented strategies.
And moves like Trick Room for speed control, or Healing Wish to revive teammates, were all part of its vast tactical potential.
And beyond battle—
As one of Nurse Joy's officially partnered Pokémon, having an Indeedee meant enormous convenience in daily life.
In battle, it was a versatile all-rounder.
Out of battle?
It was practically a custom-made maid.
The fact that high society often chose Indeedee to help raise children spoke volumes.
This Pokémon Egg had truly delivered Peter an enormous surprise.
He had expected something like Wyrdeer or Farigiraf—
Never did he imagine it would be Indeedee.
Peter grinned so hard his cheeks hurt.
"Ai~ (Master… I want milk…)"
"Alright, alright—coming right up~" Peter said hurriedly.
He placed the little one on his lap and scrambled to take out a bottle of Moomoo Milk, mixing in a beautifully crafted Pokéblock.
He had prepared special infant-grade Pokéblocks long before the egg hatched.
Taking into account a newborn's delicacy, he had even added soft, sweet peaches as an ingredient.
"This Pokéblock… looks really high quality," Brock said in awe.
Dawn's eyes sparkled as she stared at the adorable Indeedee.
"It's so cute! What's its name?"
Peter smiled warmly.
"It's called Indeedee—a Pokémon from the Galar region."
Then, turning to Brock, he handed over another Pokéblock.
"I made this one specially. Want to try it?"
"Thanks."
Brock accepted it—and without hesitation, popped it straight into his mouth and started chewing.
