A ninja can use these snakes to attack, scare, or bind an enemy. It is a powerful move for mid-range and long-range combat. It even works in battles between Kage-level ninjas.
The hand seals for this move are Tiger, Rat, Snake, Rat, and Tiger. It is a space-time technique. It is very similar to a Summoning Jutsu. However, it does not require a blood contract.
The user puts a summoning seal on their arm instead. After the ninja finishes the seals, the snakes appear. The ninja uses Chakra to guide the snakes.
The Hidden Shadow Snake Hands is a C-rank move. There is a stronger version called the Hidden Shadow Multi-Snake Hands.
That version is B-rank because it uses more snakes and needs more control. Chisaku felt that he would learn the B-rank version once he mastered the C-rank version.
"I cannot use this move yet," Chisaku sighed.
He had two problems. First, he could not explain where he learned it. Second, the move needs real snakes. These snakes must be strong and smart. He is not a student of Orochimaru. He has no contract with Ryuchi Cave. He cannot get a snake right now.
Chisaku put the move out of his mind for a moment. He learned something important today. Healing main characters from the story gives him Ninjutsu rewards. He was just a normal Chunin before. Now, he knows the A-rank Mystical Palm Technique. He is a talented medical ninja. He needs to find and heal more famous characters to get stronger.
Chisaku stopped thinking. He looked at his office door. He counted down from three. When he reached one, the door opened.
"Senior Chisaku, I am here!"
A head peeked through the crack in the door. The person looked around and laughed. Then she walked into the room.
"Hina, you must knock first," Chisaku said. He felt annoyed by her energy.
Hina was 16 years old. She has a happy and boyish personality. She is a talented medical ninja. She is a student of Sarutobi Biwako. Biwako, the wife of the Third Hokage, she runs the Konoha Medical Department and the hospital. Chisaku also studied under Biwako. People consider him her student too.
Before he got the system, Chisaku was an average student. He was not a formal disciple. Hina was a formal disciple. The two were friends. Recently, Chisaku became famous at the hospital. He learned two advanced jutsus very quickly.
Hina started visiting him often. She says she wants to learn from him.
"Senior Chisaku, is there a secret to the Mystical Palm Technique?" She asked.
Chisaku told her to practice with dying fish. She had been doing this for days. She even smelled like fish.
"Practice makes perfect," Chisaku said. He could not tell her about the system.
"Hmph!" She pouted. She thought he was hiding a secret. Then she slapped her forehead. "Oh! sensei wants to see you! Lady Tsunade is with her!"
"Why did you wait to tell me?" Chisaku stood up quickly and went to the director's office.
He knocked on the door. A stern voice told him to enter.
Chisaku opened the door.
Biwako sat behind a large desk. Tsunade, the princess of Konoha, sat on a chair next to her.
"Teacher Biwako. Lady Tsunade," Chisaku said. He bowed to them.
The year is Konoha 44. The Second Shinobi World War ended three years ago. Chisaku remembered working under Tsunade during that war, He was a Genin then who spent his days bandaging wounds and stopping blood loss.
Tsunade changed after her lover, Kato Dan, died. She developed a fear of blood. She does not work much now. She only helps with big medical problems.
"So, you are the kid," Tsunade said. She looked at him and raised an eyebrow. "You are quite bold. Are you trying to give me work to do?"
Tsunade is 30 years old now. She looks like a leader. Her long blonde hair is in a ponytail.
She had brown eyes and fair skin. She was a very beautiful woman. However, she does not have the blue diamond on her forehead yet. This means she has not mastered the Strength of a Hundred Seal.
"I am only repeating an idea you had years ago," Chisaku said calmly.
He knew why Biwako called him. It was because of the two ideas he gave the hospital. During the last war, Tsunade's brother, Nawaki, died in a trap.
He died because his team had no medic. Tsunade wanted every four-person team to have a medical ninja. The Hokage said no at the time. He said they did not have enough men or money.
The war ended three years ago. Konoha is strong again. A third war will start in a few years. Chisaku wants Konoha to be ready. He sent a plan to hire more medical ninjas. The system gave him the Delicate Illness Extraction Technique for this idea.
He also sent a plan to grow the hospital. He wanted to open clinics in other cities in the Land of Fire. He wanted the hospital to make and sell medicine. He even planned new departments for the hospital. He suggested a ranking system for doctors. The system said this plan would help the world. Biwako looked at Chisaku with pride. She thought he was a hard worker.
She believed he had the talent to be an assistant to the Hokage. She showed his plans to the Hokage, then she talked to Tsunade. She wanted the strongest medic to come back to work.
Tsunade has a fear of blood. This is a secret. Biwako knows about it. She thinks working will help Tsunade feel better.
"Chisaku, the Hokage agreed to your plan. We will hire more medical ninjas at the Academy. Tsunade will lead the project. You will help her," Biwako said.
"Yes, Teacher," Chisaku replied.
Tsunade snorted. She was not happy, but she did not say no. She would find a way to test Chisaku later.
"Your plan for a medical class is great. We will do it. You will teach basic medical skills every Saturday morning," Biwako said. "We will focus on ninjas from normal families. Tsunade will show you what to do."
Biwako told him the plan to open more hospitals was too big for now. They would focus on the school first. Chisaku agreed.
Chisaku used these plans to get close to the Hokage's faction. He has the system, so he cannot stay hidden forever. He must show some talent. This lets him meet famous characters. If he meets them, he gets rewards.
He also wants to stay safe from Shimura Danzo. Danzo is the "Darkness of Konoha." He works with Orochimaru on human experiments. He uses Hashirama Cells to try and replicate Wood Release. If Chisaku stands out too much, Danzo might take him to the Root or try to eliminate him.
If the Hokage likes him, Chisaku is safe. He can say no to Danzo. Also, showing his value helps him gradually expose his full abilities. Meeting Tsunade was a great surprise. His plans will move faster now.
