A few more minutes passed.
Still nothing.
One of the survivors finally stopped walking.
"Are we sure we entered the village?"
The people around him slowed down.
Someone looked over his shoulder.
"The System said we entered Velaris."
"Yes."
"So why are we still in the forest?"
Nobody answered.
Another survivor scratched his head.
"Maybe this is the village."
Several people stared at him.
He looked around at the trees.
"I'm just saying."
A few tired laughs escaped the group.
Nina almost laughed too.
Almost.
They had followed the mysterious light for days.
They had crossed dangerous forests, fought monsters, watched people fall behind, and pushed themselves through exhaustion just to reach this place.
They had finally stood before an enormous stone wall and thought they had found salvation.
Then they entered.
And found more trees.
Nina looked around.
