Jane was sitting in her office but she was not working during that moment. She was thinking in a very pensive manner about her relationship with Mike.
She was thinking about it because she was a therapist (she, just a few moments ago, encountered a patient/client who wanted therapy to heal from the death of her loved one or in other words her husband) and a simple human being at the very same time.
She was making comparisons of her client's love life with her love life. It was very similar. They all met each other in a very similar way, dated, got married.
The only difference was that the client's husband died very young and loved the client until the very last breath of his.
Jane and Mike, on the other hand, were growing apart from each other both physically and mentally even while being married. It seemed like that they also needed couple therapy.
Jane was thinking and thinking until a smart phone rang.
"Hello?," She answered after receiving the call.
"Yes, yes, dad, I did the breakfast…"
It was her dad, Hopper.
Hopper was a really good dad. Jane did not manage to get proper motherly love because of her mother's death due to cancer. Jane was six at that time.
Even though there was still a void, Hopper still always made sure to give his daughter the love that she deserved.
The love that was both fatherly and motherly.
But her father did not approve of her wedding. Her wedding was more like her own choice that her father agreed upon because he did want to disheart his own child, his only daughter.
"…the breakfast was very delicious, dad, yes, thank you….yes,yes, I love you, take care,bye"
Hopper always made sure to talk her for even the smallest things despite the fact that he opposed her daughter's marriage.
Jane hung up the call and went to her car after going outside the building of her office.
Jane came home. She changed into a relaxed dress and started watching TV.
She and Mike lived separately in an apartment. They had been married for 10 years by than but they shifted into that apartment one year ago.
While watching the TV, Jane found an unfamiliar box filled with tape records and a tape recorder that was sitting along with the decorations inside the table large rectangular table below the smart TV.
