THIRD PERSON'S POINT OF VIEW
"What?! What the hell happened?!"
Kidd's shout cracks through the cramped room, sharp enough to make Ace and Kieran flinch. The sound bounces off bare walls and stacks of equipment, lingering long after it should have faded.
Kieran smacks him hard on the back of the head—thwack-and glares. "Shut up! Or at least keep your voice down-you know how thin these walls are, you moron!" Ace just shoots Kidd a look that could cut glass.
Kidd laughs it off, rubbing the spot where he was hit. "What were you two yucking it up about? Let me see!" He'd just stumbled out of the bathroom and caught the tail end of their laughter-curiosity was eating at him like a dog with a bone.
"Nothing you'd get, meathead," Kieran fires back.
Kidd clutches his chest like he's been shot. "Ouch! Is this how you repay me for letting you copy my 'genius work' back in grade school?!"
