When they arrived, the atmosphere throughout the Estate was noticeably subdued. The household staff and pack members they encountered spoke quietly, and the loss of Richard and Luna was evident in the solemn expressions of those around them.
Liam and Gabriel were directed toward the family residence, where they hoped to find Thomas and offer their sympathy.
Thomas had already spent much of the day dealing with the immediate responsibilities following his parents' deaths. When he received word that the two men had arrived, he agreed to meet them.
Liam offered his condolences first.
"Thomas, we're sorry for your loss. We know this is a difficult time for you and your family."
Gabriel nodded in agreement. "If there's anything we can do to help, please let us know."
Thomas acknowledged their words with a tired nod. "Thank you for coming. It's been a difficult day for all of us."
