Chapter 13 - The Second Point Whispers

After the God of Light's withdrawal, the world appears calm—but only on the surface.

Raiyen stands alone among ruined structures, silent and unmoving. There is no rage, no visible power—only a strange, hollow echo pulsing within his chest. It is not his heartbeat, but something deeper, heavier. When Veyra asks if he is alright, he gives no answer.

That night, when no one is watching, Raiyen closes his eyes and looks inward.

Within him lies a vast dark ocean. At its center float two symbols.

The first—Anchor of Will—is stable, silent, obedient.

The second is sealed, cracked, and breathing.

Then a voice speaks.

It accuses him of holding it back.

When Raiyen demands to know who it is, the voice laughs and answers calmly: it is what he will become if he ever abandons control.

The Second Point releases a vision.

Raiyen sees a future where Heaven lies destroyed, the Gods erased, and worlds reduced to silence. At the center stands himself—empty-eyed, his Soul Flame turned black and white. There is no anger, no mercy—only completion.

Raiyen shatters the vision and rejects it.

The voice agrees.

"Not yet."

At dawn, Korrin approaches him. Her shadow behaves unnaturally, as if afraid. She confirms that she, too, has heard the whisper. When pressed, she reveals the name of the Second Point:

Abyssal Verdict.

Veyra is shaken, mistaking it for another form of divine judgement. Korrin corrects her. Abyssal Verdict does not judge from above. It allows Raiyen himself to decide everything.

Korrin explains the true cost.

When fully unlocked, Abyssal Verdict does not merely judge gods—it grants the power to rewrite existence itself. But each use erodes Raiyen's future, pulling him closer to the being he saw in the vision.

Silence follows.

As the Second Point reacts again, reality around Raiyen begins to flicker. Veyra cries out, sensing the danger. Raiyen collapses to his knees, gripping his chest as blood spills from his lips. With sheer willpower, he suppresses the Second Point.

He chooses restraint.

Heaven feels it immediately.

Alarms erupt in the observation chambers. The God of Chains confirms that the Second Point showed movement. The God of Light closes his eyes and acknowledges the truth—Raiyen heard the call, and he chose not to answer it.

For the first time, the God of Light frowns.

Restraint, he realizes, makes Raiyen far more dangerous.

The episode ends with Raiyen standing at the edge of a cliff, broken world below and silent sky above. When asked how long he can keep suppressing the Second Point, he answers calmly—until it becomes necessary.

And when that day comes, he will not become a judge.

He will become the end.
