Year:- 1203 AD,
A teen wearing grey armour and grey cloak was walking inside a cave. The cave was heading deep inside the Sayug Mountain near Sakrino Kingdom. The teen stops and closes his eyes.
[Teen]: I felt some strong presence. It must be that of A tier adventurer maybe on par with me. I should be more careful around here.
Through a huge gateway he entered a big space. It was a small town like base. He entered the Colosseum. It was huge. There was a secret entrance to go deeper and there was a bartender,alone.
It was looking like he was waiting for something. Teen approaches near the bartender with a serious tone.
[Teen]: Are you the rightman?
[Rightman]: You are Grey Adventurer, Silver Tusk. What is your real name?
[Teen]: How do I believe you are not one of the settings of The Great Demon Lord?
Rightman sighs. He moves his head like giving some signal. Many adventurers appear out of nowhere.
[Rightman]: If I wanted you dead, you would have been lying lifeless on the floor by now. There are 10 B+ Tier Adventurers and 1 A Tier Adventurer.
[Teen, in his mind]: He is not lying. The presence I felt before was surely of that A Tier standing 150 metres behind me holding his sword. He really is the rightman.
Teen sighs and looks into Rightman's eyes.
[Teen]: My name is Derono Rial , from Cen. I am 15 years old and I am Grey Adventurer, Silver Tusk. I am here to ask you for A Tier Adventurer according to the letter.
Few adventurers who were surrounding Derono at a certain distance keeping eye on his movements were surprised.
[Random B Tier Adventurer]: Rial?! You mean Rial, right? I thought that clan was wiped in Marshal War long ago. You are really a descendant? How's this possible?
Whispers fired among those adventurers. The A Tier Adventurer who was standing 150 metres behind Derono was just thinking something else in his mind. He was observing the whole surrounding. A tall shadowy figure indeed. Even Rightman was slightly surprised to hear it.
Rightman closes his eyes and thinks something.
[Rightman]: You may not know much about your lineage but it has a great potential. I have changed my plans. I am giving you my ability UPGRADER. It will keep making you powerful with each battle. The more you train, struggle , the more will your powers grow. Surely it has a limit unlike The Great Hero Thunder Tusk who was beyond such limitations. UPGRADER will increase your growth atleast 1.25 times.
Derono was unsure but he accepts. The ability UPGRADER was passed to Derono.
Suddenly the A tier adventurer was just beside Derono. He covered the distance between them in just 0.5 seconds. He places his arm around Derono's shoulders.
[A tier Adventurer]: Now how about the match, Rightman?
Derono was thinking deep about the exact power level of this beast A tier adventurer.
[Derono, in his mind]: My estimation was wrong. He isn't nearly on par with me...he is more powerful. The more close he is, the more I understand about his power level. He is more powerful than me at this very point, atleast physically.
Rightman nods and shifts his gaze towards Derono.
[Rightman]: Meet our only A tier Adventurer, Fuji. He is the strongest adventurer we have in our secret town. It was decided that if you are really capable to take an A tier adventurer with you, he will be Fuji of course and he would check your capabilities and resolve. For this, he will fight against you in the Colosseum above this bar. You got any questions?
Without even thinking for a bit, Derono accepts the challenge. He wasn't happy but surely he needs to accept this challenge to gain a teammate.
All adventurers start walking towards the Colosseum and Fuji too leaves. Rightman also stands up from his seat and was about to walk when Derono stepped infront of Rightman.
[Derono]: I have a question for you Rightman.
Rightman narrows his eyes , looking like he knew what the question might be.
[Rightman]: Is it about Great Hero?
[Derono]: Yes. You were one of the allies of Great Hero, more like his butler so let me ask you straight...what was Great Hero's Trump Card Ability the last time you saw him?
[Rightman]: It was something he called DOMINATION OVER DEATH. I don't know much about it. He said he got that ability just after defeating Demon Lord Yakub. This ability was supposed to be his only Trump Card I know about. But according to me he couldn't Master it since he was killed just after one week of getting that ability. I doubt he mastered it just in one week. If he had, he would have been alive till now.
[Derono]: What was this ability about?
[Rightman]: As the man suggests, it was clearly domination over death. If he had activated it, no matter who, how or with what weapon he is killed, he will get revived or ressurrected. But since Great Hero is already dead so this means he failed to master the ability within the week.
[Derono]: I see.
Derono and Rightman enters the Colosseum. Rightman explains Derono about rules such that the opponent can only be considered defeated if he himself announces it and killing is allowed. Derono was slightly concerned about his victory after having glimpse of Fuji's presence few moments ago.
Rightman leaves to Staff room while Derono was inside the arena standing infront of Fuji.
Whole Arena was bursting into cheers and expectations because never had any A tier Adventurer fought in this arena. Now there are two A Tier Adventurers facing each other. Three Magical Barriers were applied to ensure less damage. Additional damage absorbing barriers were also casted by C+ Tier mages.
[Fuji]: You got some balls kid to accept battle against me. I am Fuji, a young 26 years old and 2.25 metres tall confident A tier Adventurer and you will be facing me.
Derono just ignored the introduction part and takes his battle stance. Fuji just smirks and takes his battle stance too.
Bell rings announcing the start of the fight.
Two huge explosions take place in the arena. Crowd was kinda confused. It was actually that both Derono and Fuji clashed each other with high speed creating such momentum. The shockwaves were generated destroying nearby supporting walls and even one of the Magical Barrier was recieved the shock.
[Derono]: B Tier technique, ACCELERATING KICK!
[Fuji]: B+ Tier Technique, MIRROR DEFENCE!
These clashes were creating huge shockwaves now threatening to shatter one of the Magical Barriers. The crowd was shocked to watch this display of power. Mages were sweating bullets hardly managing to keep up their multi Magical Barriers. Rightman was observing this battle with insane focus. The clash was slightly surpassing speed of sound creating sonic booms.
During this very clash, Derono was studying the abilities of Fuji precisely and anticipating his next moves easily. Derono was counterattacking Fuji's sheer strength with pure techniques and abilities.
Just being sure about his victory, Derono got his guard down to attack Fuji with sword at point blank range through a clone and suddenly...Fuji smirked?
[Fuji]: It was quite appreciating but you got your guard down it seems.
Derono realised it late. Fuji just teleported behind Derono and kicked at his torso with great power.
This send Derono flying, breaking all barriers and even B Tier Damage Absorbing Barrier was shattered.
This impact of kick broke almost all rib bones of Derono. Also B Tier ability (HEALING) was nullified temporarily by the kick of Fuji. This kick was amplified by Fuji's B+ Tier ability (HEALING NULLIFIER).
Derono was bleeding and coughing blood. Derono got unconscious there.
[Fuji] Looks like the match is concluded with my victory and so I can stay here fo...
Suddenly whole cheering crowd goes silent. Fuji was slightly confused. Rightman who was watching from Staff room smirks proudly.
[Rightman, to himself]: This is Rial's Resolving Blood afterall.
When Fuji turns around, he sees Derono standing on his feet coughing blood and barely conscious.
[Derono]: Shall we begin where we left?
