At the teacher's words, every pair of eyes in the classroom turned toward the door.
Standing there was a cute, innocent-looking nine-year-old boy, with messy black hair and striking red eyes that felt oddly out of place. His posture was calm, almost too calm for a child his age.
"Sun," the teacher continued, "you can sit beside Emma Grossman."
She glanced at him briefly.
"She is the top student in this class," the teacher added. "Emma, please help him find his way around the school."
"Yes, teacher," Emma replied politely.
Sun walked to the empty seat beside her and sat down quietly. After a moment, he turned toward her.
"Hi," he said softly. "My name is Sun Winchester."
Emma smiled faintly."Hi. I'm Emma Grossman. If you need any help, please don't hesitate. I'll be happy to help you."
After the brief conversation ended, Sun looked at her more closely.
She had black-brown hair, deep black eyes, fair skin, and a doll-like face that seemed almost unreal. As he stared, he felt his heartbeat slowly increase.

Emma froze.
A faint blush spread across her cheeks.
"W-What are you saying…?" she muttered softly.
Sun smiled inwardly.
He knew her personality well:
A competitive perfectionist, obsessed with winning.
A pathological controller, capable of extreme violence
Complimenting her was the perfect first step.
I already have plans, he thought calmly.
Even if I have to kill everyone in this town… I'll make her mine.

Outside the gate, a black car pulled up. A man waved from inside.
Sun got in and looked out the window—just in time to see Emma entering her father's car.
Before leaving, she glanced back.
Their eyes met one last time.
Then she was gone.
