The Abyssals are a mysterious group of vessels appearing from the depths of the ocean. Ranging from Destroyers to Abyssal Princesses, the vast variety of Abyssals caused humanity to lose control of the seas.
As the only beings capable of resisting them, Ship Girls are equipped with rigging as weapons. Thanks to their efforts, counter-offensive operations aimed at reclaiming control of the seas have begun.
Ordinary Abyssals are Abyssal Warships with little intelligence. Abyssal fleets attack any humans or ships they see, with no discernible formation.
High-ranking Abyssals possess the authority to lead Abyssal Warships and are known as Abyssal Princesses. An Abyssal Princess commands Abyssal Warships to arrange themselves into orderly formations, increasing the fleet's combat power several times over, while the Abyssal Princess herself possesses immense strength.
Whether an Abyssal fleet has an Abyssal Princess makes a massive difference in its combat effectiveness.
The appearance of the Abyssals is accompanied by a dark, oppressive abyssal mist that brings feelings of despair.
A fleet composed of 38 white-tier Ship Girls, organized to intercept the Abyssal attack, was gliding rapidly across the sea.
Two Ship Girls caught up from behind. One of them, who had just notified the Admiral of the attack, shouted, "Everyone, listen! We don't have to be afraid this time! The Admiral built a Gold-Plated Ship Girl! Her name is Yukikaze. If she fights the Abyssal Princess, we'll definitely win!"
"What? The Admiral is so unlucky, yet he actually built a gold-tier ship?"

"Your name is Yukikaze, right? I'm the flagship of this fleet. Welcome aboard. We're counting on you to handle that Abyssal Princess," the white-tier flagship carrier said happily to Yukikaze.
"Hmph hmph hmph! No problem, leave it to me! Yukikaze will protect everyone!" Yukikaze said, hands on her hips with a look of pride.
Vroom... Vroom... Vroom!
Over twenty Abyssal carrier-based aircraft flew toward them. The Abyssals were already upon them, interrupting their conversation.
The white-tier flagship carrier shouted, "Everyone, prepare to intercept!"
Three white-tier carriers launched their aircraft to attack the incoming Abyssal planes. Fighters fired their guns with endless rat-a-tat sounds. Occasionally, planes from either side were hit with a bang, crashing into the sea and exploding in flames and smoke.
The Destroyers, cruisers, and Battleships were not to be outdone, firing their main and secondary batteries fiercely at the Abyssals.
Boom... Boom... Boom!
The Abyssals bared their teeth and opened their cavernous maws, revealing pitch-black gun barrels. They loaded shells and fired back at the Ship Girls with a series of thuds.
A wave of Abyssal bombers dropped bombs on the Ship Girls. Yukikaze successfully evaded the bombing, but a Battleship girl following closely behind her was hit directly, triggering her heavily damaged state. She was then struck by a torpedo and eventually sank.
Yukikaze glided over to escort a carrier girl. An Abyssal Destroyer suddenly leapt from the water, lunging at Yukikaze with its massive mouth open. Yukikaze quickly ducked to avoid it.
However, the carrier girl Yukikaze was escorting couldn't dodge. She was caught in the Abyssal Destroyer's mouth, triggering her heavily damaged state, before being bitten to pieces and swallowed. To ordinary Abyssals, a Ship Girl's body is highly nourishing and can enhance their strength.
With no time to grieve, Yukikaze moved to escort another carrier girl. A large number of Abyssal cruisers fired over fifty torpedoes at them. The torpedoes were so dense that they couldn't evade, and they were struck directly.
Yukikaze found herself unscathed after being hit. It turned out to be a Dud, and she sighed in relief at her luck. However, the Aircraft Carrier she was escorting wasn't so lucky; it took a direct hit from a torpedo, triggering the heavily damaged state mechanic, and was subsequently sunk by incoming shells from the Abyss.
"It's your own bad luck, not mine. Don't blame Yukikaze. Be a lucky ship in your next life!" After thinking this, she moved on to escort another Battleship Ship Girl.
Because two Aircraft Carrier Ship Girls had sunk, only the flagship Aircraft Carrier Ship Girl remained. This led to the Abyssal forces gaining air superiority, and a larger wave of bombers began dropping their payloads on the Ship Girls below.
Yukikaze was hit again, but she found her body still unscathed. She once again marveled at her own luck. Meanwhile, the other Ship Girls around her had long since triggered their heavily damaged state mechanics and were sinking under the relentless bombardment.
"Is everyone okay? Yukikaze will protect you all! Huh!? Why is everyone gone?" Yukikaze looked around, only to find herself alone on the sea.
A major crisis!? The Abyssal Princess hasn't even shown up yet, and I, Yukikaze, am the only one left!
"Vroom... vroom... vroom!" The bombers struck again. An Abyssal Princess was commanding the bombers, preparing to launch an attack on Yukikaze.
The Abyssal Princess had long silver hair, crimson eyes, wore revealing clothes, and had sickly pale skin. "Sink for me!"
Yukikaze felt no fear. Even if she was the only one left, she would fight on. She aimed her main guns at the Abyssal Princess and opened fire with a boom.
The Abyssal Princess looked completely indifferent. You're the only ship left; no matter how strong you are, what can you do? Then, with a crack, a fissure appeared in her energy shield.
I didn't expect this Ship Girl to be so powerful, actually cracking my energy shield. As a reward, I shall grant you death!
"Whoosh... whoosh... whoosh!"
The Abyssal Princess commanded thirty-eight bombers to drop their bombs on Yukikaze. Yukikaze continuously dodged the bombs. Even when she was hit four times, those four bombs failed to explode—they were all Duds.
Even when the surrounding Abyssal Warships fired shells and torpedoes at Yukikaze, it was useless. They were either dodged by Yukikaze or were Duds.
While dodging, Yukikaze counterattacked these Abyssal Warships, using her main guns and torpedoes to strike them. One by one, the Abyssal Warships sank! In the blink of an eye, half of the Abyssal forces had been sunk.
The Abyssal Princess was filled with grief. These Abyssal Warships were her personal guards! Losing even one was a massive loss! Eventually, the Abyssal sea area under her jurisdiction would be swallowed up by other Abyssal Princesses.
After some thought, the Abyssal Princess decided to ignore this Ship Girl! She would go straight to destroy the Naval Base. Once the Admiral is gone, you'll surely leave quietly. Then, this Naval Base's sea area would still be hers.
