In this cruel and ruthless world, strength is everything. The victor is awarded, whilst the losers are abandoned.
That is a definite truth.
"Gramps, I'm going ahead!"
"Rei! Eat properly first you fool!"
"Hahaha! Later gramps!"
I grab a piece of toast on the table and rush outside my house. Time check, it's 7:14 AM, and school starts in 16 minutes.
I was running late, if it wasn't obvious. I bit on the toasted bread while running towards my school. I'm Rei Kamui, I'm a first-year at Lekigami High.
"Hey fucker, c'mere."
And if you may ask...
"Gimme your money, nerd."
I'm being bullied.

"I don't have money" I respond.
"Shut up and give it."
"I told you I'm broke-"
Takai didn't even let me finish. He grabbed my neck and choked me before I could finish my sentence, while looking at me with death-cold eyes.
"I said, give it."
I handed him my allowance for this week. This had continued since my second year of middle school.
Although, Takai didn't always bully me. The bullying started during my second year of middle school, when they were bullying someone by spraying water on them.
I didn't know how scary or strong Takai was back then. All I knew was that I had to protect that guy, or he'll suffer.
Then as if he was waiting for a savior, Takai smashed my head to the ground without any regrets.
"Saying something?"
"What the fuck?"
"What's your name."
"I won't answer!"
"I'm not asking" Takai said in a cold serious tone. "I'm ordering you to tell me."
"Rei Kamui! I'm Rei Kamui! Let me go you bastard!"
"What did you call me?"
"Bastard! Let go!"
And in the next second, my vision became blurry as Takai kept punching me.
Damn it. If I hadn't interfered, maybe I would've lived a nice highschool life by now.
"Thanks for the allowance, lil bro."
"Fucker" I murmured to myself. I hated Takai, matter of fact, I despised him with all my life.
Takai Remizawa. His father, Toki Remizawa, is a rich and well-known person in Japan. The only reason why he hasn't been expelled despite being a big big bully is because his father is one of the school's greatest sponsors.
I hated him, I abhor the fact that privilege takes equality.
It continued on for three years already. Even though we're in high school, he still does this.
I make my way to my classroom, class 1E. In Lekigami High, classes are divided into 5 sections in accord to their capabilities. A for the best students, whilst E is for the defects or throwables. I was in 1E, well judging from my grades, it isn't a big big wonder.
However, it's not as if I'd remain class E forever, there's two ways to progress all the way to class A. First, of course, is to prove your worth and excel.
And as for the second option?
[School Announcement: Class 1B, Takai Remizawa had advanced their class to Class 1A.]
[Class 1A, Jid Samekawa, had lost. Classes are now changing!]

It is, as stated, to defeat the other class' representative.

And the reason why I'm at class E is shown above.
I, have not won any fights.
The announcement soon stopped and everyone started whispering.
"Jid lost to Takai?"
"Really? Damnnn, that was unexpected."
"I know right! Jid was very strong too."
As these whispers spread, the hallway became a room of yapping.
And, a very familiar group appeared.
Class 1B, previously 1A, is proceeding to Class B Classroom. Their faces were filled with despair and sadness.
Jid Samekawa was a very strong dude. He, who's rumored to have defeated a polar bear on a hand-to-hand fight, was beaten by Takai.
Of course, everyone would be surprised. Not only was Class A the most luxurious class, the teachers also change their attitude towards you.
I knew of this, and of course, that's why I'm bullied. Even though I was the class representative, I have not won yet.
And this would come haunt me very soon.

Why would someone fight the bottom of the barrel you ask?
It's because of "reward points or RP."
If you beat a class higher than you, you will receive 200,000 RP. These points can then buy anything you want in this school, as long as you have the required amount.
However, if you beat a class lower than you, you will only receive 50,000 RP. And the third secret way to advance classes are...
To buy it with points or RP.
Of course, no one would be able to do it. However...
[Class 1D is challenging Class 1E!]
Class D, was a different class. It only challenged weaker opponents, and refused to battle stronger opponents. Their goal was to buy Class A with points.
However, you can't always refuse to battle. If you're challenged, you need to pay 70,000 RP to refuse that battle. So, I knew exactly what kind of plan class D had.
[Class 1E has accepted the challenge!]

Lekigami High Gymnasium Arena. Although it has that long weird name, it's basically just a boxing court for humiliation and fun.
This was Lekigami High. A school where the strong survived, and where the weak were despised.
I was enough of this. And after three days, the battle between me and Kanae will start.
And so, I refuse to lose this time.
However, I heard a strange voice.
"Do you want to win?"
Who was that?
"If you want to win..."
It's saying something.
"Then you'll have to box back."
